still struggling to get in protein after 3 mths
I did get some of the Syntrax nectar. I haven't tried them yet. I just mixed half of a serving of one of the samples I got with 8 oz of 2% milk and got it all down and I liked it. I eat beef Jerky too. But, like everything else it's very little. Maybe one piece at a time sometimes not even the whole piece. For Breakfast I usually do an egg with a piece of turkey bacon and cheese and can get down about half of that.

still struggling to get in protein after 3 mths
As far as the sweet tea goes, I just need to get Crystal Light tea. It bothers my stomach that's why I've been drinking regular the last few weeks.

still struggling to get in protein after 3 mths
I have tried EAS, Muscle Milk, one from Wal-Mart (dont know the name), Gatorade, Chike, and the samples I ordered are from Vitalady.com. I liked the one I had this morning, but it was so thick I could only drink 2oz. I'm going to try the Protein bars. What brand are they and where did you get them?

still struggling to get in protein after 3 mths
I haven't been able to stomach the shakes since surgery, however, I ordered and received samples and tried one this morning. It was extremely thick so I went and purchased a blender bottle, but I haven't used it yet. I mixed it with skim milk. I do like pudding, but I can only eat about 1/3 of a cup before getting full. I also am super de dooper bad about drinking. I have only been drinking about 8-12oz of sweet tea a day! Yikes! I need to get it together as far as that's concerned for sure.

still struggling to get in protein after 3 mths
For the last few days I have been logging my food into MFP and realized that I'm not even coming close to 90g of protein in a day. I'm lucky to get 30. I got protein shake samples and I can't even drink a whole one and am so full after half. Should I be concerned? I've been losing fairly quickly until the last two weeks. I gained 2 lbs and haven't lost since.

sleeve_sister- Adding Friends on MyFitnessPal
I know what MFP is, but what is the benefit of adding people? How does that work?- quiches
I just used a mini cupcake pan and lined 16 with reduced fat cresents and then added the following: Breakfast Quiche In a bowl I mixed one egg, a pinch of shredded cheese, and two slices chopped turkey bacon. Then I scooped using an ice cream scoop making 8 mini quiches. pizza Quiche I mixed in a bowl 1/4 cup of tomato sauce, 1/3 cup of shredded cheese, and about 10 chopped turkey pepperoni's. Scooped onto cresents making 8 quiches. Baked on 350 for about 10 mins.- quiches
I just made some amazing quiches that I'd like to share... Reduced Fat Cresents (one package made 16 quiches) Used a mini cupcake pan One was with one egg, cheese, and turkey bacon...calorie count 34 The other was with turkey pepperoni, cheese, and tomato sauce...calorie count 22 My 13 year old and his friend even loved them! I'll be trying with other combinations. I haven't calculated the Protein yet, but if anyone is interested in finding out let me know and I'll post it. Enjoy!!- Summer Cruise Anyone?
Either Carnival or RC. Carnival is typically cheaper. There's going to be drinkers on either one, but there's lot's to do even if your not drinking. Me and my hubby don't drink but it doesn't stop us from having fun.- Summer Cruise Anyone?
I've been on Carnival and Norwegian. Carnival was defianatly the better of the two. I have friends who've been on Royal Carribean and like it too. Carnival is supposedly a more of a party crowd.- Summer Cruise Anyone?
The food is endless for sure. But, there's plenty of other things to do. Me and my hubby went on one for our honeymoon and they had an x rated hypnotist show. He volunteered...lets just say we left there and were standing at the elevator waiting to get on and a bunch of college age men surrounded him, got on their knees with their arms out "praising" him. It was HILARIOUS! We also did a newlywed game and for the rest of the week everytime the cruise director did his announcements he would say, "hey Tony, beep beep" because of one of my husbands ridiculous answers. LOL Needless to say we have a blast. Last time I cruised I was 4 mths pregnant and it was not a good experience. Time to try again.- Summer Cruise Anyone?
Lol I know it! They would be like why are all these adults eating off the kids menu hehe- Summer Cruise Anyone?
DRM, the cruises out of Miami are better. I just typed up a big long reply to you and lost it somewhere in cyberspace. I'm going to the store and will reply when I get back- Sleeved in oct! Update
I was sleeved Oct 16th. HW 273, SW 257, CW 197. I am only 4'10 so I'm not even half way there, but I'm happy with the sleeve. I have been in a stall for 2 wks and I'm over it, but I started riding a stationary bike for exercise. (I have planar fasiitis and am supposed to stay off my feet as much as possible for another month:( ) Soooo, hopefully this stall will pass soon so I can feel accomplished again. Congrats on your success!- Summer Cruise Anyone?
My hubby and I are going on a cruise this summer to celebrate the new us. I will be 8 mths post op and my hubby will be just a month pre op. We would love people with the same journey's to hang out with. If you've never cruised, you don't want to miss out! You will have no regrets promise! If anyone is interested please let me know and I will give you the details. It is an 8 day cruise out of Miami.- I need a good tasting protein shake
- Fibro and/or arthritis...keep you from exercising?
I was taped for a week it didn't work so now I've been on Celebrex for a month and its helped a little. I have another month I have to take of it. I would think that would help my back and neck too. I think I just need to get used to exercising again.- Fibro and/or arthritis...keep you from exercising?
I'm just curious if anyone with fibromyalgia and/or arthritis are doing for exercise?? I have fibro, osteoarthritis, planar fasiitis, and herniated discs surrounding a 2 level cervical fusion. I just begun riding a bike since I'm supposed to be off my feet as much as possible due to the planar fasiitis, but my back and neck are screaming. It won't keep me from continuing because I'm just not that type of person I'll push through the pain. I feel like sometimes these diagnoses are an excuse not to exercise and sometimes overdue it because of that. Will the pain go away the more I exercise? I rarely take my pain meds (so rare the last time I filled them was in 2011 and they expired in sept of 2012) but last night I took one hoping I'd feel better today. Not so much! What's ya'lls experience?- My 1 year is coming up.....
That's awesome! Congrats! I'm 3 1/2 mths out and down 75, I can only hope to have the same success you have. I'm thrilled with the 75 and can't wait to be down another 78 to my goal. Are you strict with your diet? Do you exercise? Thanks for sharing! Your such an inspiration! - MyFitnessPal.com Members
