make sure you are drinking lots of water I was starving(on day 4) but I increased my water and I'm not starving anymore I do have the craving but my stomach isn't growling and complaining anymore I drink 64oz now and I feel so much better Hope this helps

sometimes your blood pressure can be elevated if you are nervous or excited(maybe about the actual appointment) and if you recently has some exertion. I use to have to climb steps to get to my DR office if they took my BP as soon as I was there it would tend to be elevated if they waited it would be normal. One high reading doesn't determine High blood pressure I wouldn't worry and please do not take your husbands BP meds it is very dangerous

are you getting lapband with plication? I have to stay over night because I am having the lapband with plication done just wondering if that is why you have to stay over night.

I'm right there with my diabetes is control well but I take quite a lot of mess to accomplish this I really nervous that the 1st few days when I can't get much in due to swelling I'm going to bottom out so I'm will be working closely with my PCP, nutritionist, and surgery I think if I get to low and can have full sugar popsicles so I do have a plan but still nervous once i get low my mind is scrambled my memory is terrible Good luck

I had to bring in a food log for one week prior to my meeting with the nutritionist we went over the pros and cons of the choices I made and how I can make them more well rounded and healthier then we went over that changes that I will need to make to live with the lap band and with my diabetes. we talked about the special diet for pre-op & post op and when I get fills. I learned a lot and I have a great nutrtionist I'm going to make future appts with her she really is a wealth of information.
