  2. Yay! So proud for you!
  3. From Pontotoc, MS. I see Dr Pinson at NMMC. Glad to see other Mississippians here
  4. 36 year old mom of 3 (19, 10, & 5). I live in Northeast Mississippi. My surgery is scheduled for October 23rd & I can't wait!
  5. Way to go! You are such a great inspiration. I can't wait to be where you are.
  6. My surgeon said to plan to be off 2 weeks, but that could be extended if I'm not feel up to returning to work after my 2 week checkup visit.
  7. 40DDD here & hoping they deflate with weight loss. Sleeve scheduled 10/23. I'm going to see what they look like when I reach goal then check into having a reduction and/or lift. I would also like input on exercises that may help.
  8. I am pre-op & this was very informative. Thank you for posting.
  9. Congratulations! You look great!
  10. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Surgery scheduled for 10/23 & need all the tips I can get.
  11. October 23rd for me. I'm in the 6 month insurance waiting period now. I have my sleep study scheduled for 08/21 & Psych eval scheduled for 08/10. Other than those last two, I HOPEFULLY have jumped through all the other hoops (Cardiologly clearance, Pulmonology clearance, Neurology clearance, 2 support group meetings, Nutritional education). My BMI is 40. I am going to be beyond devastated if my insurance denies me when my time comes. That has been my biggest fear throughout this whole process.
  12. I've noticed the missing letters but had no idea what was up with it.
  13. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!
  14. Mississippian & October 2012 sleever here. Surgeon is Dr Pinson @ NMMC.
  15. Way to go! You look fantastic. Thanks for being a great inspiration to us pre-op folks!
  16. Thank you for posting your experience. I am pre-op & want to hear the good, the bad, and the ugly. I too have clinical depression. It is well controlled at this time, but I'm nervous about afterward. Wishing you the best in the rest of your journey!
  17. You are definitely not alone. I'm 3 months into my 6 month supervised program. I am terrified that I will jump through all the hoops & still be denied.
  18. Thank you for this post. It made me cry as well. Only because I totally can relate to what you were feeling. I work from home & only get dressed when I absolutely have to (not nude but in sweats or pjs). I have let my hair go, rarely wear makeup, & seldom even shave my legs. I'm glad you are finally finding yourself and enjoying life. You are an inspiration to all of us pre-sleevers! I'm extremely happy for you!
