  2. I am 10 months postop and still feel "out of place"...especially when eating out and I sit there and watch everyone inhale their food. For me IT IS TOTALLY worth it. Lost 100 lbs so far and feel TEN times better. Keep your eye on the reasons you had the surgery. At least that is what I try to do. I do not feel "depressed" every day...usually about one day a week now.
  3. Do you have any metal in your body?
  4. I was sleeved 2/17/12. Lost almost 100 lbs so far. I too was scared that I would never be able to drink a bottle of water (especially when working out)....but now am able to drink about 8 ounces of water at a time. I still mourn not being able to eat as much as everyeone else. I do not mourn everyday...but just every once in awhile. I realize having surgery was one of the best things I have done for myself. Keep your chin up and anytime you need encouragement either get online for help or think of the reason you went through with surgery.

  12. I am sorry he did that. That was very inconsiderate of your feelings and not very respectful. Just remember, you are doing this for you. Who cares what his family thinks. This is about YOUR journey.
  13. In Longview Texas. Had VSG on 2/17 in Dallas
  14. I had both GB & WLS at the same time. I had surgery on a friday and that monday I was back at work part time. (office work) I was having gb pain and had gallstones. I had a total of 7 incisions but healed fast and feel SO MUCH better since the surgery. Its difficult to say if I feel better because of losing weight or getting my gb out. lol
  15. Good Job!! It will get easier the more weight you lose!!
  16. Good luck!!! Keep us posted!!
  17. I have Aetna and they said 6 months from the time of approval.
  18. I had surgery on a Friday and went to work Monday...BUT I work an office job. If you have a physically demanding job it will probably 4-6 weeks or longer...depending on how well you recover. IMO
  19. Keep your chin up girl! Positive thinking helps ALOT!!!! Just wait until you are loosing weight and feeling better than ever! It is worth it. Good luck and keep us posted.
  20. When I had gallbladder issues I had the same symptoms. Could it be water weight?
  21. Do you still have your gallbladder?
