  1. Congrats on the banding date, I was banded on 1/17/07 and am ready for my 1st fill. It has been 5 1/2 weeks since the surgery and I am fully healed. I seem to be able to eat anything I want at this time and am anxious to see if the band will help slow this down. I have lost 40 pounds since I got on the pre-surgery diet and don't know if I have lost any more or not. I was very heavy and can't weigh outside the doctor's office. Starting weight 442 lbs. am now at 402 lbs. I was glad to hear about this site and will use it to help support others and look forward to supporting others as we move through the weight loss minefields.lol Bigelow
