  1. You will get there. It will be fine you are just in the hard part. I am 6 months out and was in you shoes. All the new things being scared to sip and drink it will all pass. Just get through the first couple of weeks and you will be amazed at how your body will accept the new you.
  2. I am 6 months post op down almost 100 lbs and am wanting to get in more fruits and veggies. I do good with my protein but cant seem to get in a decent amount of fruit and veggies. What works and doesn't work for you ?

  4. I had it done with a BMI of 37, HBP, hyperlipidemia. I think you will be able to get it done. I cant speak for everyone but i only 9 ponds from Goal at 5 months out. I had no complications other than heartburn.
  5. When did you get Heartburn Relief? I am 6 months post op. I never had heartburn before surgery I have lost about 100 lbs and I am 15 lbs out from my goal weight. I did have a lot of heartburn for the first 3 months but after taking a PPI (Prilosec) it went away completely. My question for all of you about 1 year or further out … When where you able to stop your heartburn meds?
  6. I am 4 months out and feel like i have a bad cold or flu. What are some good go to foods when you don't have an apatite ?
  7. I was sleeved on October 25 and have done great. Not one single problem. I am having a terrible family ordeal that has stressed me out. I can't seem to keep solid foods down and when i do its smaller portions for even a sleever. I do not feel bad or tired but i know it will come if I do not get to hold down food better. It has been 5 days since i have faced the family turmoil. Has anyone gone through major family problems during the early sleeve stages? Anything i need to be aware of or any advice would be appreciated.
  8. I will try that thanks
  9. I am 2 weeks post op and I can’t stomach my Celebrate chew-able multivitamin. Literally 30 seconds after eating it i get the rumble and then extreme nausea. Should I get a Flintstone vitamin??? What did you use at this point in the game?
  10. I cant seem to drink enough water to get the nasty stuff to my stomach any advice?
  11. I was just diagnosed with a ventral hernia in my upper left abdominal wall. I am scheduled for surgery Oct 25. Anyone have this? Will it make recovery longer?
  12. I know everyone is different and can have circumstances that prolong recovery time.... But I want a ball park. How long until I'm with the kids at the park again or swimming with my niece?
  13. I was wondering if any of you have had your re-flux issues resolved??? Or just controlled? I am thinking of having this surgery and this seem to be the only thing i cant find any information on. I can find the information that says this is a complication but not how its treated other than meds. Do the meds work? I have never had issues with re-flux but it scares me to think that i could after surgery.
  14. Anyone regret the sleeve and wish they had a band ? I'm torn over the decision. Any input would be great.
