  1. Your happiness is contagious. I'm so happy for you!
  2. I'm hoping to hear from hose who are maybe a year out, who have an established "normal" diet going on of like to hear anyone's thoughts though. I can't get surgery until February, but I'm trying to come up with a binder of foods for all 3 meals. Foods that are sleeve friendly, healthy and bonus points if they are kid friendly. (I don't mind making healhy food for he kids, I just can't stand wasting said food. I'm slowly weaning them into a healthier way of eating so they aren't blindsided) What are your favorite breakfasts? Lunches? dinner?
  3. I'm subbing Not sleeved yet but interested in seeing how this plays out.

  11. I want to live my life, and there are a lot of things that I don't do because I'm ashamed of myself. I have children. I refuse to miss more of my life.
  12. I dint think any female prefers a full bush. Lol
  13. Without going into detail, I prefer it smooth if I'm going to be going down there. I'm married though. I agree w the poster that suggested you ask the women you're with.
  14. I'm PRE op but I'd like to offer a little. I've never seen anyone at a year or so out say they regret surgery. EVER. even The ones that had complications. Also, how do you feel after you eat large quantities. I don't know about you but I "usually" feel guilty, dirty, lame and ashamed. I will NOT MISS those feelings at ALL. I am ESTATIC about surgery, and being free from this prison of food addiction.
  15. There is a LOT of info about mx surgeries and surgeons on this forum if you dig. The top surgeons you'll hear about are Guillermo Alvarez Ariel Ortiz Almanza Aceves Fernando Garcia(my pick) Lopez jaime Ponce de leon There are others. TONS of happy patients. I thought it sounded crazy at first too. TO THE OP - i am hoping for the 18th-22nd
  16. You went to another hospital? Is your story written somewhere? I'd like to read it.
  17. I imagine I'll be much the same, thinking if my 6 little ones. Praying that you heal quickly and lose even faster.
  18. I'm guessing this is a GOOD sign that your sleeves swelling is going down. Enjoy!
  19. Exercise together Sex w 30 minutes of foreplay Board and card games Journal Experiment with your makeup Go to bed an hour early am talk about he first thing that pops up. Video games. At least your hands are already busy and the can't eat. When weather permits, walks, yard work, etc. Walk at the mall I sometimes do squats etc while watching tv.
  20. Thank you all, you're all spot on! I know this will still be work. I'll let him see for himself when the time comes.
  21. So I ate a large dinner (no sleeve yet) and told h about how I was going to have more self control later on life and he said "that's not self control." It kindof upset me (but not much) because this is the only way I CAN accomplish self control. and I think putting my SELF on that operating table so I can gain control IS self control. Thoughts?
  22. Gillopez, arent you a ray of sunshine tonight!? maybe Melanie is young. Clearly she's frustrated. Do NOT let then talk you out of it. They probably don't understand all the diets you've been on, the guilt, the self hatred, etc that you're going through. They may have raised you but now YOU are in charge of you. If your life story turn out crappy, you can't blame them, only yourself. Don't let anyone take it from you. I read a quote last night by "egg face" (she had wls) that was PERFECT for me. "Don't be afraid of Dieing, be afraid of never truly living."
