I'm glad my mom is on board now and very supportive. She gets happy tears now when she talks about how proud she is of me for making this choice. She knows how unhappy I've been for years. <3

How selfish I am for only thinking if myself and not my 6 children. BANGHEAD. she says when I leave I ought to just "kids my kids goodbye." This woman has never had a weight problem a day in her life. Why don't you just go on a diet? You know you still have To eat healthy and exercise for life, so why don't you just eat healthy and exercise and skip the surgery? Why don't you just eat like a weightloss surgery patient? You are just going to gain the weight, Al Roker gained 40 pounds. And on and on. I just replied "I'm doing this completely for my kids. I appreciate your concern but I know what I'm doing. I hope I can prove you wrong" I still had a good cry afterward. I do get that she's scared and surgery is scary. But surgery today isn't what it was in 1967 grandma. Sigh. First it was my mom. Now she's my biggest cheerleader. NOW it's my grandma. I can never please that woman.

Oh I'm so happy for you!! My dh says he doesn't want to go while the kids are little because something might happen to the 2 of us. He also doesn't want to pay for he extra plant ticket.

I'm hoping to have surgery the day I get there, spend 2 nights in the hospital, and hopefully only one in the hotel after, but the package allows for 2. I just wanna come home. My friends say they would take the extra day and relax and "get away" but honestly, I love my life and don't wanna get away. <3
