  1. The gym has AC, outside doesn't. It's super hot here in Louisiana. I do my workouts at the gym, where the AC lives. I probably wouldn't be as committed to doing anything outside. That's just me though.
  2. Im either crying or angry all the time. I'm 9 weeks post op. I'm going to seek professional help, maybe they can prescribe me something to take the edge off. I feel your pain
  3. Wow!!! That would've freaked me out if that had happened to me.
  4. From 234 last week to 230 this week.
  5. Welcome! I was self pay too
  6. Clothes too big or too small? I'll keep my LB card. My 16 year step daughter, who has Asbergers, needs clothes from there.
  7. I was in a stall, eating 600 calories a day. I bumped it up to 700-800 calories a day and started loosing again. I'm pretty active and feel my body wasn't getting enough on just 600 a day. I'm sure my body will adjust to what I'm doing now, and I'll have to re configure.
  8. You look amazing. That was a great video!
  9. That person needs to be punched. Forgive my violent tendencies, my sleeve seems to have made me all angry and emotional. Lol
  10. I love spicy food, and my sleeve seems to tolerate it well. I steer clear of gum and candy.
  11. Just remember to follow your Drs instructions about post op "eating" it's important to your healing and recovery. It may seem like it'll take forever, but you will get to eat real food again. It's worth the wait
  12. You should be fine, but you do need to fess up to your surgeon.
  13. I'm down 46lbs, and wearing the same pants as I was pre-surgery. I'm really not sure how I was squeezing into them (size 16 from Cato and Lane Bryant). They fit comfortably now.Although I'm pretty sure I could fit into a14 from those stores now. I did buy a pair of regular 16 blue jeans from SAMs yesterday and they fit fabulous!
  14. I had to quit smoking at least one month prior to surgery. I used the patch, and filled up a gallon zip lock with Charms Blow Pops and tootsie Roll Pops. I popped a sucker in every time I felt urge to smoke. I am now three months smoke free, and 2 months post op. I'm not on any kind of smoking aid. Good luck to you, you can do it
  15. Not necessarily....my surgeon just called it abdominal surgery on the paperwork he filled out for fmla.
