Does anyone know any place besides your surgeons office to get it? I just trying not to pay almost $250 for 12 day supply.

Yes, I have a history of DVT after surgeries in the past. Their going to put it in while their doing surgery on 16th. They take it out 2 weeks after surgery.

I got approval for surgery but waiting for date, bc vascular and bariatric surgeon have to coordinate. Has anyone gotten this? Was the removal of the filter difficult?

From the time you went for your medical clearance appt, til the date of your surgery; how long did it take? I have my medical clearance appt 5/23/12 and would it be realastic to want a 1st week of July surgery date? Thanks! Have a wonderful day!

Hi I'm 31 w/ a 13yo, 9yo, 3yo, & 21mth old; I'm in the process of going thru my Life Skills class and Nutrition Classes and scheduling my surgery for July. My 2 older kids I explained what I was doing and what would happen. They were worried at first and explained they loved me just the way I was. But after I explained it would make me healthier they were ok, but my 13yo wants to stay home with me while I heal from surgery and help me.

I'm in the process of going thru my Pre-Op Life Skills classes and was wondering if after doing the 4 wks of Pureed foods, do u still have to wait 30mins b4 & after u eat to drink anything
