  1. Does anyone have any suggestions on the best wii workout. I have the wii fit but I never really felt like it was much of a workout. It has been a while though too since I was on it. Are there any new games and/or work outs, out there?
  2. From what I understand slimed is your food coming back up. Some call it a PB or productive burp. The food is just slimy for saliva. Someone correct me if I am wrong.
  3. That's awesome, Congratulations. Having a date makes it all seem more real. You will do great.
  4. I have strawberry cream and there are are two different chocolate. The rich chocolate fudge is my fav. Then there are regular chocolate and vanilla. I find them at Walmart locally.
  5. I use the EAS also. I like all four flavores of it. They aren't bad. I have used unjury also and the chocolate is very good with decaf coffee mixed in with it. I try to mix it up a little bit.
  6. I tried unjury in some oats this morning and I almost threw up at the smell of it. I lived all the rest so I will ordering a container of the chocolate. Let us know if you find any others that are good.
  7. I have two day until surgery. Congrats on yours. Hope you feel better soon
  8. I was told no because of it possibly causing your pouch to swell out and become too large.
  9. It sounds like gas pains, yes. I had the same pain when I had my gall bladder out. I am expecting the same thing on Thursday when I get banded. Walk as much as you can. Best Wishes, hope you feel better soon
  10. I had to do 6 months of diet for insurance too. They did not go on my BMI after dieting, but I only lost 7 lbs in the 6 months. I get banded on the 17th and have lost 9.5 lbs on the pre-op diet. I am down 34 lbs from my heaviest. Good Luck, keep us informed
  11. I am scheduled for Thursday also. Good Luck. Would love to keep up with you through this journey
  12. You look awesome. Way to go. I can not wait till I can do these pictures.
  13. It did me that way the first week. I have four more days to go and it hasn't been so bad now.
  14. I just bought new scales so I can start weighing myself at home. I never liked getting on them before so I never owned any, but now I am expecting to see results with all this work I am putting into this. I am hoping for big results!!
  15. I too, have been rescheduled 3 times. My surgery is the 17th. I was originally supposed to have it 12/19. I feel your frustration. Good luck and hang in there on the pre-op. 5 day let to go
  16. I think the scrip looked like it said 1200iu. Does that sound right? Not sure if that is high or low?
  17. Thanks, by the levels listed in the letter I am borderline. But they said they want me to bring it up 30 pt(?) I will definately take the scrip to the pharmacy on Monday then. Thanks
  18. So I got a letter in the mail today from my doctor’s office that said I was Vitamin D deficient, and I need to get a supplement. They sent a prescription with it but I cannot read it, lol. I am not sure I insurance will cover a prescription for a vitamin. So, I guess I am asking if anyone else take a supplement for Calcium and V/D? IF so what is the best for after being banded? Surgery date is the 17th. BTW, I do plan to ask them when I get to the hospital. I will talk to them then about it but just wanted to hear form the LBT community, women in particular. Thanks
  19. I am there with you. I have been fixing regular dinners for my family and eating my pre-op soup when they eat. I will admit it has not been fun but it is getting easier. My husband and i went to the store today and I tried my best to steer him in a more healthy direction. I think after I get my band he will come around more and more. He is not a picky eater, he would eat anything I fix. My daughter on the other hand is going to be a tougher cookie to crack (no pun intended). She eats well and drinks nothing but water but she does have her favorites like mac and cheese, etc. Good Luck, wish you the best on your journey,
  20. You are the only one that can make the "right" decision for you. I have been back and forth for the last year now and I feel the pros completely out weigh the cons. It will be the best decision I have made for myself I am sure of it, and I have made a lot of bad decisions on my day, lol, but this is one of the best Good Luck
  21. As long as you have thought long and hard and are ready to commit to a new life style then congratulations. Do you research and find a good surgeon, someone you are comfortable with. I get my band place next week and I can not wait. I am so ready for this and need is so badly. I am ready to get my life and body back to where it was ten years ago Good Luck
  22. Fitting into a booth and not rub the table. Riding amusement park rides with my daughter. Fitting into normal size clothes from where ever I want to buy and not just certain stores. To be intimate with my husband and not feel like a big hog. To have MY body back again.
  23. Thats great. the pre-op is not that bad either.
