  1. :eek:Hi to all, I will be finally getting the lap band on 06/09. I have gotten all my clearances and I will have my upper GI on 04/29. I am so confused on the Protein drinks. I need some advice. I bought a couple of samples of unjury and will try one tomorrw. I want to know what people think of Isopure and any other ways of getting the Proteins in. I have pretty much no money ( on a really tight budget) so I don't want to spend on something that I will not drink. Please help... Paty
  2. Hi! I was wondering, would brown sugar be a better replacement for artificial sweetners / regular white sugar? Hope everyone is well. Paty:clap2:
  3. Hi! My name is Paty. I am a 36 year old single mom. I live in Parlin, NJ and I am trying to get the LapBand procedure done. My doctor is Dr. Morris Washington in Freehold, NJ. I currently weigh about 280lbs (give or take that time of the month). I am 5'4" and have been overweight all my life. I have gone through all the procedures, doctor appointments and got approval for the procedure in mid May of this year, but I changed jobs and I am just waiting for my new health card to come in so the office can ask for approval again. I hope that I can get approval soon and embark on this new life of losing weight and being healthy for once. I am tired of being so big and uncomfortable. I hope to meet new friends and learn new things and recipes. I am also very curious on the pre band and post band liquid diet. Hoping here to meet you all!

I have everything set up with doctor appointments and the class prior to getting the approval from my insurance company. I am here to meet new friends, get advice and hopefully be satisfied with my physical being... Hope to talk to you soon!! Paty
