  1. My doc said to expect to gain weight when I started on real foods, he said if should take about 6 weeks to start loosing at a healthy weight and j Til then our weight will fluctuate dramatically. I wouldn't worry too much, just stick to the rules!
  2. @marketing dude, Hi there! At this point if I ordered a cup of soup before my meal I probably wouldn't be able to take more than a couple bites of my food because after a cup of soup I'm pretty full already! I have been out to dinner since being banded and I order a bowl of soup and can only finish half of it :/ I'm sure it depends on the person, but I wouldn't be prepared to eat much more after having anything before your meal I have only been banded since the 4th so this might change, but this has been my experience so far good luck!

  7. Thank you everyone so much! I think I will take my medicine every 4 hours instead of 6 and try to walk more. The gas pain really isn't that bad but I can't take a Deep breath which makes it hard to manage the pain. And that beautiful baby is my goddaughter she lives in another state so I won't be lifting her lol Thank u again for the responses, I'll keep everyone posted!

  17. Hi everyone! I am so excited to have found this app! The info on here is great! I am 25 yrs old, have struggled with my weight for as long as I can remember and I'm excited to be making a change! My surgery is scheduled may 4th so about 3 weeks away. I had a couple questions though: 1). How do you avoid this painful burping I keep hearing about? Us it from the food you eat or how fast you eat? 2) do I really have to give up drinking from a straw? Putting my mouth in a cup kinda grosses me out 3). I have heard about how people gain back the weight, but don't understand how that happens? I thought the band was supposed to restrict u from eating too much? If you start to gain you would need to get another fill to fix that right? Thanks for your help! Looking forward to the journey
