  1. Thanks Everyone for the thoughts and gestures; however I've been seeing a chiropractic and X-rays were Completed. Band is in tact but a bone aligned to my esophagus was completely out of place. After the doctor completed a few of her medical techniques in office I was like brand new. She states that it was causing acid reflux bad. And she was right.
  2. for the last week I have been unable to keep food down. I think my band has flipped.
  3. I has surgery on a Wednesday and went to work on Monday. I felt good plus had done my research about the procedure.
  4. I wish you the very best. Thus far I never regret doing the surgery. I needed this lifestyle change, I needed this tool to get me where I want to be in my weigh loss journey. I enjoy the compliments and attention that I have gained. I hear it's normal to feel the way you do but remember you made this decision. Lapband Talk Forum is here to support you along the way but you must reach out for the support.
  5. You should be doing the following: Journaling or logging your meals Journaling or logging your exercise Are you active enough? Are you doing what you should? Attending support meeting/groups for lapband Discussing your concerns with your doctor. Before going to doctor I write down all my questions and concerns. When he ask if I have any....I tell him to brace himself. Remember, this is your lifestyle change and you have to live with it.

  8. I'm a beginner. Get with some local chapters in your area or log on to www.active.com... Great tool to help u get started. I actually like virtual runs.

  11. Today is my one year anniversary. I'm great, blessed and still as excited as the day I went in for surgery. I look good, feel good and still maintaining. I've lost a total of 30 pounds and have plenty more to go. I've learned the foods that I like but the band does not; I know that also have to workout in addition to my lapband tool.
  12. I feel that say when I eat chicken or right after a fill and it's too tight.
  13. Yes... My doctor thought this had happen last month. I was totally shocked
  14. This is my story however I keep pushing.., some days are hard. I can't see my recent weight loss but know it has happened
  15. I'm only consuming 1/2 cup of food each meal
  16. This just happened to my sister last week. Band was so tight she was dehydrated. Her doctor did the Water test however 3 days later she couldn't handle it. I was at the doctor on the 13th. I could barely get water down But had the adjustment before I left.
  17. My new doctor has asked that for my next visit I bring in my daily summary of food to him for 30 days.
