Ughhhh I am so nervous, on my way to the hospital, today is the day!!!!

Well tomorrow is my surgery . Will get my time of surgery today. I am super excited but the nerves are definitely settling in. Going to work today (hospice nurse) hopefully it will keep my mind occupied. And of course making sure I take pre op photos today!!!!!

OMG I am soooo nervous !!!! Only 2 more days!!!! They better knock me out quick!!! Lol

For the ones that were allowed lights meals did you have to go on full liquids at anytime during surgery? Any drs recommend enema or laxatives before????

My surgery is the 18th and I feel the same way

My surgery is this Weds on the 18th, had my meeting at anesthesia yesterday, getting so nervous!!!

I had no ultrasound or testing and was told a 2 week liquid diet

Well at least that's one positive thing

My husband and I are both in the medical field and we researched this over and over. My Dr requires 2 weeks of only liquids. Knowing they say it's to shrink the liver, but it actually takes the liver more than 2 weeks to shrink, I think it's a personal preference by the Dr. And Yes I have cheated

At least u get a light meal, mine is ALL liquids, no sugar, no caffeine as well. I know the goal is to shrink the liver but as a nurse I don't see the necessity of 2 weeks full liquidNot very good I have cheated twice. Supposed to be on full liquids for 2 weeks.
