Hi JaniRN, I will be getting sleeved on the 18th. They won't give me a time though until the day before, so that's kind of nerve wracking, but I'm trying to keep busy and have everything prepared to keep my mind off of it. I'm trying very hard to stick to my pre-op diet and get to the gym most days.

How are you doing with your pre-op diet?

Not very good I have cheated twice. Supposed to be on full liquids for 2 weeks. How abt you?

My pre-op diet is two protein shakes a day plus one light meal including a salad. This is actually making it hard, because as soon as I eat that one light meal, it makes me want more food! I'm doing ok though. The gym is helping take a few pounds off.

At least u get a light meal, mine is ALL liquids, no sugar, no caffeine as well. I know the goal is to shrink the liver but as a nurse I don't see the necessity of 2 weeks full liquid
