  1. Thank you SkinnyMom! I was going to check with my doc or nut because that seems so much simpler. I appreciate ur information. Doesn't sound like I'll be trying that either.
  2. I was wondering that myself. Are they sufficient? Where do you get them at? Anybody know?
  3. My surgery is April 24th and my doctor only required me to be on liquids 24 hrs prior to my surgery. Part of me is thankful but part of me thinks I should do a couple of days anyway. Just so the post-op liquid diet is not such a shock.
  4. I am so sorry! I did not mean to post that 3 times and I can't figure out how to delete them. I don't have a computer and I was doing it from my stupid phone and it has a mind of it's own! LOL
  5. Thank you all SO SO SO much! I have several things to try now. I just didn't even know where to begin. Thanks again!
  6. Thank you so much 4ALongerLife! It means so much to me that you would be willing to do that. I have sent u a private message with my address. Thank you again!
  7. Thanks everyone! I appreciate the tips. I think I'm gonna try the costco ones next. I just hate to have to buy a big 'ol thing of them and take the chance of not liking them. There seem to be a lot of people that like them so I guess that's a good sign. How much are they? And how many? Has anyone else had a problem with it upsetting their stomach? I know this is T.M.I.........but I mean not like making u feel sick but making u need to go to the bathroom?
  8. I tried the Oh Yeah cookies and cream, and vanilla. They're lactose free so I don't think that's an issue. I tried Atkins Advantage Milk Chocolate and it wasn't as rough on my stomach as the Oh Yeah, but still. I'm starting to get a little concerned. My surgery is April 24th and I'm afraid I'm not going to find one that works in time.
  9. Thank you sooo much everyone for the support and words of encouragement! I absolutely agree with all of you! I feel so much better! Thank you again!
  10. Thank you for your words of encouragement peace1127! It feels good to know I'm not the only one who thought about this and you are absolutely right......He did not make me overeat. I have been praying through this whole process. I have prayed that he show me if this is not His will but things have progressed so quickly I can't help but think it was His hand controlling it. I want to feel good and not be afraid to run around in the yard and play with my boys.....afraid that I will break something because it feels my knees and ankles can no longer support my body! That is going to be worth EVERYTHING! Thank you again!
  11. Thank you urbandecano5! I was so lucky my insurance didn't require the 6 month pre-op weight loss diet thingy. Sounds like we get to be surgery buddies! Please keep me posted on how things are going for you! Good luck!
  12. YAY! I'm sooooo excited but I'm soooooo scared at the same time. I keep wondering if I'm in God's will. I mean should I just go on and be happy with the way God made me OR does He have his hand on it because everything has gone so smoothly. My consultation appointment was March 19th and I got the call yesterday to schedule my surgery. I just had my psych eval this Monday (that was my last piece of it) and within 3 days insurance had already approved it. So my surgery is scheduled for April 24th (they wanted to do it the 16th but that day didn't work for me). This means that I will be through with the surgery within a month of my 1st visit. That's what I mean by everything going so smoothly. I'm thankful! Does anyone understand what I mean by being in God's will?? I don't know I guess I'm just scared. Thanks to all!
  13. Sorry this was a duplicate post! My stupid phone is at it again!
