  1. It's around 19lbs - I haven't monitored my food intake or really been watching my food which I think is the main issue. I will have to read my bandster book off healthier ideas. I do walk bit I guess it's my fault I haven't lost weight. Thanks for your post!
  2. I have lost 8kgs included pre op diet and no more. I currently have 6mls and can eat solids but no weightloss. Anyone here the same or it's just me. Thought I'd be 15 kilos lighter by now. ;(
  3. Basically when you feel ready! I was 5 days post-op and had relations with my fiance' . So yea, when you feel your up to it
  4. Thanks for your comments guys. Gives me some insight! I had a salmon sushi roll today, the seaweed is hard to swallow so I peeled it off but I still didn't slow down, I wasnt conscious eating and just wooded it down and it came back up....;( my fault
  5. Thanks for your reply, that sheds some light but I wont know until I try. I don't eat the sushi rolls - more the raw fish on top of sushi and things like that. I'll just eat slow and chew!! Thanks again for your reply!! X
  6. I'm 3 weeks post op and already had my first fill - question I want to go to sushi train and i need to know is sushi hard for some of you to swallow? Does it go down or is it just a non friendly band food?? Because I LOVE sushi!
  7. Anyway ... I was super nervous because I read on here it hurts sometimes but I felt NOTHING the thing that hurt was the doc pressing down on my stomach to find the port. Now on 48 hours liquid and if all goes well I can start eating normally! My issue is I will need to teach myself concious eating and chewing!! I'm so excited to finally start my journey and first day back at gym tomorrow morning! *groan* wish me luck!
  8. I'm three weeks post-op and just got my first fill today, 5cc I believe in a 'large' band so te doctor told me.
  9. Hi Waitingpatiently, thankyou for your encouragement. I think I will go back to liquids (mega sad face because it's Easter and I'm italian lol) but like you said I don't want to damage it before I even get to use it. I'm just so disappointed that I let food overcome my willpower. Also stephyanders I will take your advice and go on liquids I'm Hoping it's only irritation. Tha is again guys :)xx
  10. Hi tana - thanx for your response. Im glad I'm not alone- but it came ip fairly easily but now I've got a pain right in the middle of my breasts. I'm 2 weeks post-op now I'm worried the pain means I've done damage. :(
  11. Hello - I'm on my mushie stage and I got too excited and had chick and hot chips (idiot) and I just ate it too fast and the first time it just came back in my mouth bit I didn't learn and later went for more but this time when it came up I actually dry reached and threw up a little more. I'm so sad and disappointed that I may have done damage.
  12. Hi all - thanks for your replies. I've decided to weigh myself weekly instead of daily (which I should of done in the first place) but now I'm on mushies and I had ricotta cheese and tomato on crackers today for lunch and soft chicken with hot chips - which I stupidly shuffled down my gob without realising and it didn't get stuck but it wasn't going down and i knew not to drink water so I just tried to stick it through but the last mouthful just came back into my mouth. SOO long story short it was a wake up call as to be more conscious of what and how I eat. sorry this is so long xx

  14. Thankyou all so much for your support, I'm glad this is normal!! I'll just need to eat tge right foods! Xx
  15. Wow - trust me I'm hungry all the time too and I have very little will power. I ate solids during my liquid post op diet. I regret but I can't help my self. I get my first fill on the 16th hoping for some feeling of restriction. I hope you survive bandster hell lol xx
