    March Roll Call!

Hi everyone I got sleeved March 23rd and I'm doing good with the weight loss not so good with keeping my diet...I feel hungry all the time and don't know what to do. The weight is coming off but I'm afraid of eating...what I'm eating isn't a lot at all but it's more than before. I eat and feel hungry again in an hr...I don't eat I drink fluids but I feel the need to eat...and I know the difference of mind hunger and stomach hunger it's my stomach...I think. Maybe it is mind hunger... I'm afraid...but my fear will keep me at bay. Pre op Weight: 292lbs Surgery date: March 23rd Surgery weight: 279 lbs Todays weight: 209 lbs Total loss: 83 lbs

    Guys: Telling People?

Well I told everyone just for the simple fact when I was looking into getting my surgery I had no one to ask questions to. I then found out there was a whole secret community at my job that had all types of bariatric surgeries. I want someone who has questions not to be ashamed to ask or feel alone like I sometimes did...so I lay my cards on the table. I dont care what ppl think...I did this for me.

I was having trouble getting in all my protein but did some research and found a liquid protein product call "Proteinex" 18g of protein in 1oz....can't beat that with a stick. It's a little expensive but worth it for me. Just wanted to pass on my findings.

I'm doing great now but i am having trouble getting my Protein in. Anyone have any ideas?
  8. Have you had a BM yet it could be that....ask your doctor if it's safe to use a stool softener.
  9. I found a basic guide if anyone is interested... http://www.cornellweightlosssurgery.org/pdf/dietary_guidelines_sleeve_gastrectomy.pdf

  12. Hello!..I'm 4 days post op and I feel kinda weak and dizzy sometimes my chest feels weird. I'm having no pain just uncomfortable feels like someone punched me in my stomach. I can feel the things I eat drop into my stomach. I noticed everyones doctor starts them on stage 2 diet a week or more after surgery my doctor started me before I left the hospital I really haven't started because I feel it's too heavy but I have tried farina, 1 scrambled egg, mashed sweet potatoe, and greek yogurt seems like a lot but I can only intake about 3oz at a time. Even though I have my doctors ok I don't feel right being on stage 2.
