I think she sees a lot of people on here talking about revisions. A lot of people are going from lap-band to the sleeve. your sleeve will work for you as long as you take care of it. dont stretch it out and you'll be good. As an ER nurse, to me, this is the safest of all the weight loss surgeries with the least complications. Remember, I see ALL the screw-ups and I had a sleeve

It is probably coming off carbs and sugar.. Drink lots of Water and it will help.. Everyday it will get better.

Yesterday was my first day and it wasn't so bad. Today is way harder! Plus, I'm on straight liquids. Only shakes, broth, sf Jello and sf Popsicles. I'd kill for a piece of chicken.

Joni, you took you the words right out of my mouth! I'm a Diet Coke Addict and about a month away from surgery. I'm seriously stressing over quitting. Absolutely ridiculous! It comforts me to know that I'm not the only one and that I can hope I don't desire it anymore.

Im going through this right now too. I had an upper GI today which showed some ulcers. My surgeon said that we have to find out if the ulcers are caused by bacteria (they can test with blood or a biopsy). If they are, they give a 2 week regimen of antibiotics and approx 6 weeks of an antacid (like prilosec). I still don't know if mine are bacterial, but once I do I'll be able to start treatment. Are you as disappointed as I am? I'm sooo bummed to be having a setback. My surgeon said it's important to be healthy and fully healed...at least that is his rules.
