  1. I believe Miralax is safe long term. My son (who's 15) was prescribed Miralax for everyday use by a gastroenterologist. It works great for me too. Before surgery I was totally regular, but now I need a little help.
  2. I went to Old Navy today and was able to wear the size 18 jeans and XL tops. I was so excited! I started this journey in a 24 and 2x or 3x top! I'm 2 1/2 months out and excited! Congratulations on your weight loss! I'll be thrilled when I hit 70 pounds lost.
  3. My closet is becoming empty. I had to go buy a new pair of jeans today, but when I realized I had gone down from a size 24 to an 18 I did a happy dance! Such a great feeling!
  4. Celebrate because I tasted samples from other companies and Celebrate tasted the best...by far!

  7. I feel hungry often too and I'm going to try and increase my Nexium and see if it helps.
  8. I'll take that over 110 degrees in Phoenix!
  9. I've had some bad days too. I read someone else's post that said there's no expiration on your sleeve, so I figure tomorrow's a new day!
  10. So, I'm returning from San Diego and I'm feeling guilty from some of the poor eating choices I've made. I made some good choices too and I did walk A LOT. I'm really hoping that made up for some of the naughty choices.
  11. All I can say is stay ahead of the problem! I had one of the worst experienced ever when I was constipated about 2 weeks post op. I'll spare you the details, but Miralax has been a lifesaver for me.
  12. I posted about my frustration about my stall today. I'm right there with you! It's good to know I'm not the only one. Fingers crossed that this will be over for all of us soon!
  13. Know stalls are written a complained about often, but I'm feeling like the scale is never going to budge! I'm thrilled with what I've lost so far, but I've only lost 2 pounds in 3 weeks. I'm I determined to be stuck here forever?!
  14. I'm 6 weeks out and I eat between 600-800 calories a day. I keep my carbs under 30-40 grams per day.
  15. I wanted to check in and see how you are. Sending prayers your way.
  16. Yes, even my 8 year old is about as tall as you! My mom is 5' so I passed her up in the 4th grade.
  17. My hip joints hurt. I can't figure out how it relates to surgery, but I never had it before!
  18. I found them at Kroger today!
  19. I'm almost 6 weeks out and eating 600-800 calories, 60-70 grams of protein, and under 40 carbs.
  20. It usually does take a few tries. Sending good vibes your way.
