  1. I'm one week out and feeling lots better everyday. Congrats!
  2. I'm sorry you have to deal with this! I'll remember you in my prayers.
  3. That's awesome! You look beautiful!!
  4. I was told no cottage cheese until the puréed stage. I'm on full liquids now, but you could check with your doctor.

My surgeon is adamant about one year! I don't drink anyway, but I can see how some people would be really bummed!
  6. Congratulations! I live in the valley too and was sleeved at Banner Gateway April 27. I'm glad you found this site...everybody here is awesome!
  7. I'm not there yet, but it sounds like a stall to me.
  8. I have to strain my soups and no beans until 2 weeks out. I'm bored with tomato soup and cream of chicken soup. Any other favorites?
  9. Oh I love it! My husband always spanks me too, so he'll get a kick out of this.
  10. I was sleeved April 27 (5 days ago) and I'm doing good! Thing is, I'm already so tired of the same things. The full liquids stage leaves me fast and leaves me feeling hungry. I've been eating yogurt, Cream of Wheat, soup, broth, sf jello, protein shakes...I need some varieties! Any new ideas?
  11. That's interesting because the Celebrate were the only ones I did like! We really all must taste things differently. I spit out the Bariatric Advantage ones...couldn't stand them.
  12. Oh I hope this is true! I don't like feeling hungry on the liquids only phase.
  13. I'm taking the Celebrate multivitamins. I am still searching for a calcium I can tolerate, the ones I've tried were yuck!
  14. I know you mean laparoscopic (my mom confuses the two all the time). I'm guessing you have scar tissue or issues from previous abdominal surgeries? I don't know the difference in recovery time but I would get a second opinion either way. My first surgeon prefers open, so I found a new one!
  15. I know biotin won't for sure help with hair loss, but I was considering getting some to try and prevent it as much as possible. Anybody know how much? I saw some 1000mcg biotin that was dissolve-able, and swallow pills that were like 5000mcg. What's the verdict?
  16. I'm postop day 4 and feeling quite a bit more energetic today. Glad things are going well for you. Are you on Zofran for nausea?
  17. Mine has been pure liquid too. I was sleeved on 4/27.
  18. I had surgery on Friday and I lost 16 pounds! I was very happy with that and my surgeon said I did awesome.
  19. I'm 3 days post op and I'm having the same thing...must be normal!
  20. I had surgery yesterday morning. I've done really well, but now I'm really queasy and I'm scared to death of vommitting !
  21. I go in at 5:30am! AAAGGGHHH! I can't believe it's finally here! Good luck to all the others too!
  22. I'm sorry things have been rough. Hopefully the swelling will go down and you'll heal quickly!
