I know biotin won't for sure help with hair loss, but I was considering getting some to try and prevent it as much as possible. Anybody know how much? I saw some 1000mcg biotin that was dissolve-able, and swallow pills that were like 5000mcg. What's the verdict?

I'm taking 5000 mg a day. I don't know about head hair loss, but I see much more facial hair! I'm a woman-constantly having to get waxed, but if it helps with hair loss, that's fine!
