  1. Great job!!!!! I have not heard much about the genie bra, what is it?
  2. I am 2 months out and have lost 51 lbs. I chose the sleeve because of what most people said in here, I did not want my intestines re-routed. However there are people in my local support group that have the Rue N Y and have done great. My advise, like many others, do what you want to do, not your doctor. If you want the sleeve, do it. My experience in the healthcare business, in regards to why they are pushing it, is maybe the payout is bigger. I hate to be that way but I have seen it. Good luck!!!!!!
  3. I am 6 weeks out and I had regrets about 3 weeks out. I can not eat what I want, grits are getting old, stuff like that but that regret goes away, I promise. Good luck!!!!
  4. Yeah I was at a stall too at 5 weeks and now I have lost a few more. It does go away and it is frustrating but my doc saw me Wednesday and is happy with my weight loss so I am good too. We will get thru this!
  5. I do think it is easier when you do it together. I wish you both luck. At first I kind of regretted it, not being able to eat what I want and all but man, 44 lbs later, I am loving it.!!!!!!
  6. Congrats!! I really enjoy the EAS chocolate fudge protein shakes that have 42g of protein. They are a little high in carbs but I get half of what I need in the bottle. Good luck!!
  7. Good luck, you will do fine!
  8. You guys, this has been so helpful and encouraging and inspiring. Thank you so much. I am going to keep doing what I am doing, up my protein shakes and keep walking and just give it time. I appreciate this so much you will never know. I love this site, the overwhelming support gets me through each day. Thanks again.
  9. I am 4 1/2 weeks out from my sleeve surgery, I am at a stall right now and will not seem to kick start. It has been over a week. Now mind you, I am not expecting it to drop off suddenly, but I figured maybe a little more than it has and my worst fear is that it will noit start back. I have been trying to get all my protein in everyday. I am still working on my willpower, Yesterday a rep brought ravioli and it was so good but as I am eating it I knew this was not a good choice. I can not seem to get out of my bad habits and it is frustrating me, I want to be good and lose weight and be healthy and have babies and get off all my medication butt even with this wonderful tool, I can not get myself straight and I know that is what is stalling me. I have started walking a mile everyday so I feel like that is helping. I try not to weight myself all the time but every couple a days I can help it. Please I need some incouragement or advice or something. I want to cry.
  10. Is there any of you from Greenville, SC?
  11. I rushed over to say hello, lol.
  12. This helps me a lot too, thanks guys. I am at that 3 weeks stall.
  13. I am 3 weeks out and I still fight those cravings and issues. I want to eat more and can not. I love food, always have, always will. I know how you feel. I have read other comments regarding the same thing on here and they say it will get better.
  14. Good luck, you will do great.
  15. The nurse told me to sleep on my side and that would help. It hurt to walk until yesterday. The bubble that was bothering me finally decipated. It will get better, I promise.
  16. That is great. I was sleeved on April 16th and they were coming off but seemed to have stalled. I have lost 32 lbs since my preop diet.
  17. I haven't gotten sick yet, thank goodness, but I have noticed that when I do eat too much, my heart races, does anyone else do that?
  18. I m 3 weeks out today and I have been having the regret feeling too. I just want to eat normal stuff. However I did learn that I no longer like Italian which to me is very sad it is ( was) my favorite. The hormones, well they were a problem before the surgery, this just made it worse. I am with you and here for you and with everyone we can get through this together.
  19. It is worth it. I was surprised that I did not have any more pain medication after the 1st day in the hospital. There was discomfort with the gas they put in you but other than that it was fine. You will do great.
  20. Congrats, you look wonderful!
  21. That is funny, I am having the same problem. I have been walking, probably not as much as I should but I am and I am seeing a stall and I am 2 1/2 weeks post op. I thought it was me.
  22. I am 2 1/2 weeks out and I get that alot too. I will take the eat smaller bites and slower into consideration.
