  1. Went through this same stall. It will pick back up and u will do great
  2. I am 5 months out and this is your first of many stalls, trust me. I have lost 85 pounds n been stuck there for bout a week. It's just your body going into "starvation mode". It will store fat thinking that your starving because of your change in eating habits. It's super annoying, but part of it good luck on your journey, it's tough but wonderful
  3. I'm 5 mo post op, like everyone else I started losing my hair about 4 months. It sucks but ice lost 80 pounds since march, I'll take it
  4. You look awesome!! If you are comfortable, and feel good and happy and healthy that's all that matters. Don't beat yourself up over it, and u are not a failure. You havs had a awesome weight loss and look great. Doctors don't know everything
  5. It's tough, but worth it in the end. Good luck!!!
  6. There is lots of good stuff to eat. Just have to stay away from those empty calories. Not good for weight loss.
  7. I looovvveee cucumbers..and pickles..my favorite snack dipped in ranch dressing. Eating like I'm prego again haha!
  8. Stick with soft foods when cleared..mashed potatoes, applesauce, cottage cheese, soup. I would take it slow. You will know if u overdo it..you and the toilet bowl will become great friends I didn't eat crab legs until like 4-6 weeks post op. still have to be careful.
  9. I don't dip my crab legs in anything. Just eat them plain..they taste awesome like that. I ate 1 pound of crab legs the other day when we went out. I was fine, other days 2-4 ounces per meal of food if I'm lucky. Like I said some days are good some are horrid. I don't get in much calories per day. I watch more my protein intake, still can not get the required amount in, but I try. I lost 40 pounds my first month. I was very sick after surgery, did not eat much till about month 2. I would recommend a gastric sleeve to anyone now..first couple of weeks were awful, but once u figure out how to eat and mentally make yourself right it is wonderful. Thank u all for the congrats..much appreciated. Just want to spread the good news to the new comers so they have something positive to look forward to with their new sleeves
  10. Salads are hard to digest.
  11. Whatever I want really, I just know when to stop. No salad or red meats. I stay away from fattening foods. No sugar. Lots of fresh veggies. Crab legs is my favorite food. Some days I do better than others with food.
  12. My surgery date was march 21st...75 pounds lost. I feel awesome! I <3 my sleeve!!!
  13. Well I loovvee my sleeve. 65 pounds down since march 21st!! I'll take it!!
  14. Sushi was my last grossly large proportioned meal pre op, now I can eat sushi again and it is delish, just can't eat a lot of it and I always have left overs..which is not a bad thing. It amazes me the proportion sizes they serve these days and the sizes I was serving myself. Crazy!! No wonder I had to have a surgery to lose weight. 50 pounds gone in a month, I'm ok with small portions. I can tolerate anything now, just no beef..ground beef stinks to me...yuck lol!!
  15. Thanks for the advice. I enjoy being able to talk to people and know that others are going through the same thing I am. My family and friends just don't understand. I am hoping the depression and fatigue goes away soon. I tried the pepcid with the axid and it worked. If its bad I did the baking soda..worked wonders thanks again!
  16. I glad you posted this topic. I am so depressed. It is scary cause I am not a depressed upset person normally. I have been lately though. I'll cry and regret what I did I am glad to know now that others are feeling the same feelings I am, and that I am normal. Good luck to you the feelings will pass, just with it would hurry.
  17. I am starting my 3rd week and I have been stalled for about 5 days now. I understand your frustration. Everyone on here says it will pass. I am ready for it too. I like seeing the pounds melt off..the stall is quite annoying
  18. It will hurt till about day 3..I started feeling better after that. Take it easy and good luck to ya!!
  19. Wow 22 days of clear liquids! I dunno how u did it. I was on them for 2 weeks n just went to puréed foods...yummo I am down 21 pounds now..no energy..and I'm depressed. Anyone else going through this??
  20. Thanks for the advice. Doc put me on axid. It isn't really helping though. I am having a hard time getting liquids and proteins down I dunno what to do. I am trying the Pepcid. Does anyone else feel down and kind of depressed? I've caught myself thinking, "why did I do this to myself?"
  21. Yes! I tire very easily and I'm 9 days post op. I'm ready to get some energy back
  22. I had my gastric sleeve on 3/21. I've done awesome on my liquid diet. I have lost 20 pounds in 7 days. Today I havent done anything different, but I have the worst case of heart burn ever. It is uncomfortable. Does anyone have any suggestions on what can help with that?? I'm not sure if I can take Pepcid or tums for it. *ouch*
  23. I use truvia also. It seems to taste better to me than Splenda and sweet n low.
  24. 14 pounds down!!!!!
