  1. Well I loovvee my sleeve. 65 pounds down since march 21st!! I'll take it!!
  2. Sushi was my last grossly large proportioned meal pre op, now I can eat sushi again and it is delish, just can't eat a lot of it and I always have left overs..which is not a bad thing. It amazes me the proportion sizes they serve these days and the sizes I was serving myself. Crazy!! No wonder I had to have a surgery to lose weight. 50 pounds gone in a month, I'm ok with small portions. I can tolerate anything now, just no beef..ground beef stinks to me...yuck lol!!
  3. Thanks for the advice. I enjoy being able to talk to people and know that others are going through the same thing I am. My family and friends just don't understand. I am hoping the depression and fatigue goes away soon. I tried the pepcid with the axid and it worked. If its bad I did the baking soda..worked wonders thanks again!
  4. I glad you posted this topic. I am so depressed. It is scary cause I am not a depressed upset person normally. I have been lately though. I'll cry and regret what I did I am glad to know now that others are feeling the same feelings I am, and that I am normal. Good luck to you the feelings will pass, just with it would hurry.
  5. I am starting my 3rd week and I have been stalled for about 5 days now. I understand your frustration. Everyone on here says it will pass. I am ready for it too. I like seeing the pounds melt off..the stall is quite annoying
  6. It will hurt till about day 3..I started feeling better after that. Take it easy and good luck to ya!!
  7. Wow 22 days of clear liquids! I dunno how u did it. I was on them for 2 weeks n just went to puréed foods...yummo I am down 21 pounds now..no energy..and I'm depressed. Anyone else going through this??
  8. Thanks for the advice. Doc put me on axid. It isn't really helping though. I am having a hard time getting liquids and proteins down I dunno what to do. I am trying the Pepcid. Does anyone else feel down and kind of depressed? I've caught myself thinking, "why did I do this to myself?"
  9. Yes! I tire very easily and I'm 9 days post op. I'm ready to get some energy back
  10. I had my gastric sleeve on 3/21. I've done awesome on my liquid diet. I have lost 20 pounds in 7 days. Today I havent done anything different, but I have the worst case of heart burn ever. It is uncomfortable. Does anyone have any suggestions on what can help with that?? I'm not sure if I can take Pepcid or tums for it. *ouch*
  11. I use truvia also. It seems to taste better to me than Splenda and sweet n low.
  12. 14 pounds down!!!!!
  13. I had my surgery on 3/21 also, I have also found it difficult to get all my fluids in. My doc said no protein till this wed. I think that beef and chicken broth are awesome and the warm liquid seems to relax my stomach. Decaf coffee is also great and I am with ya on the Popsicles..I can't get enough banana ones I have been doing that and I have lost 10 pounds already. I was so unsure of what I had done after the surgery, but aside from the pain..I feel great and I am so happy I took this path in weight loss. I am new to this site but reading everyones story's and suggestions is a big help. You will do GREAT!!
