  1. Thank you. How much could you eat at this stage. I'm wondering if my sleeve will ever let me eat more than 2 oz...
  2. I'm on my 3rd week post op. Blended and soft foods. I'm only able to get 2 ozs down. Does it get easier later on? I feels like the food I try to eat starts to come back up. Any advice? What were you guys eating at this stage and how much could you keep down? When does it get easier?
  3. I used a heating pad last night and it helped. I still have the pain today but I'm going to continue to use the pad. I slept better last night. Thanks everyone for your input! Love you guys!
  4. Yes, it would be. I will definately try it.
  5. Thank you Lissa! I guess I've had milk based shakes all along and I've been eating yogurt without problem. On my three week diet, the foods list is mashed potatoes, eggs, cheese spread, chees sticks, and nut butters. I'm not sure my sleeve is ready for it. I ate an egg and half a slice of cheese this morning. Went down well but now the acid reflux is horrible. I do love eggs though!
  6. I'm 15 days out today and just started three week soft foods. I've been having problems getting in all of my Protein since I had surgery. Yesterday, I thought I was doing awesome but today I'm having acid reflux so much more. I'm on Previcid 30 mg which the Dr. prescribed but before the surgery I was on Prilosec 20 mg a day. I don't think the Previcid is working! Also, the last two days my left side has been hurting a lot. I thought maybe I pulled the muscle or something. It hurts really bad when I lay down. Kinda goes around from the back to the front right under the ribs on the left side. Any ideas anyone of why this is happening? I called the nurse and she is yet to call me back. I'm so surprised!! NOT! Thanks guys!
  7. So sorry to hear this. Hope all is well after the endoscopic procedure!
  8. Praying for you Lizzy. You will be better sooner than you think. Keep the faith. God Bless!
  9. Congratulations!
  10. Try drinking G2 gatoraid. It helps me so much to stay hydrated and it is low sugar and low calorie. I like the blue best. I was almost dehydrated once last week and just made myself drink it. Sipping every few seconds. Hope this helps.
  11. So happy you are on your way to recovery!! It is great they found the problem. We are all thinking of you and praying for you speedy recovery.
  12. So so sorry you are both going through this. Praying for you. God bless you.

I'm going into week 3 and have stalled for a week now. Looking forward to the break!
  14. DId anyone else experience a stall going into the 3 food stage. I've actually haven't lost any weight at all this whole week on full liquids!! What is going on? Any advice? So far I lost 15 pounds pre op and 13 pounds after surgery. I'm very happy with that but I'm not happy that I'm eating nothing and the scale is staying the same.
  15. I was the same way Catalina. I'm sorry you are going through this pain. When I posted my 1 st week after surgery, alot of people didn't know what I meant by "pain in my chest". Mine felt like a contraction or spasm. I had a lot of swelling and as the days went by the pain subsided a little each day. I was on liquid pain meds. Tasted awful..eewwww... but helped a little on the pain. It was still there though. People were telling me it was gas but it wasn't. Not the pain in the chest. Once the swelling begins to go down it will get better. I'm 11 days out now and hardly feel it at all. Hope this helps. God Bless!

I wondering if that is happening to me. I'm almost three weeks out and have lost 28 pounds but haven't lost any in 3 days. I wonder why we have stalls so soon after surgery?
  17. So inspirational Lisa. You look wonderful!
  18. Had to fix my typo. Hate when that happens.
  19. Thanks guys! I had my staples out yesterday and it wan't a big deal. Now I feel like a baby even worrying about it. LOL I am so glad they are out though. It does feel so much better.
  20. Yes exterior staples. Darn.. why did my surgeon have to use staples???
  21. Hey guys, I'm having my staples out tomorrow. I just wondered how many of you had staples and how long you had them before they took them out? I have one incision that is so sore. I'm not looking forward to it. I've had them before when I had my C-section and had lots of staples... but still... I don't like it.
  22. I will but I'm only a week out. Not sure if that matters or not?
  23. Congratulations Jewels. Tomorrow is the first day of your new life!!
