  1. My Drs. group said we have plenty of nutrients and protien stored in our body and we will be fine for the weeks when we are on fluids. Don't worry you will be fine. I am 9 weeks it is stressful at first we are use to thinking I NEED to eat you will eat again... only less. Just remember always be sipping.
  2. I am 9 weeks out I can eat what I want now I don't eat sugary foods or junk foods but I eat meals like my family 2-4 oz. meat 1/2 sm. potato. Vegtables are still hard for me to fit in I eat around 1/2 cup each meal. I understand by 1 yr. out maybe 3/4 - 1 cup at a time. Sometimes I can eat a little more than that I think my stomach is more efficient now at moving foods thru. Just chew, chew, chew, good luck to you.
  3. You should try muscle milk light it contains no milk and has 20gm of protein also have you tried GasX the nurse told me to try this as I had a bad attack of gas when I was leaving the hospital. I took it for a while after eating and bedtime for a few days it really helped me. good luck and It will get better this I know. I had surgery Jan. 20th.
  4. I know that problem is nooo fun you should try muscle mike protien it contains no milk which many of us can't tolerate now it has 20gm protien per 8.25 oz the vanilla creme is easy on my stomach. good luck and good health
