  3. Hi all! I had my 2 week post-op visit on Wednesday 3/21 and I had lost 17lbs... I got on the scale again yesterday and I'm done 22lbs.. I feel great! Still doing the liquids and started the mooshy stage but honestly the best part is knowing this is working! Thank you all for being so supportive and open and honest on your journeys as well! Keep up the good work sleeve friends...
  4. I also had buyers remorse... I was sleeved on March 5th! The gas pain was awful and my right side hurt like no tomorrow. I had trouble getting down meds and liquids. I got home on March 7th and basicly cried for 2 days. Feeling like I had done the wrong thing and now I'm paying for it 17 days post-op and feeling like I have so much energy and will power! At my 2 week p/o appt I was down 17lbs and feeling blessed... I think it was around day 5-7 I was feeling much better. I started taking chewable gas-x and walking as much as I could tolerate and sipping as much crystal lite as I could... Keep your head up! You aren't alone and it will get better everyday! If you need to talk message me
  5. I'm only 17 days post-op and I don't eat more than 3oz's... My full feeling kinda just sits under my breasts... I'm eating yogurt, cottage cheese, broth, Jello, pudding, cream of wheat/farina, or mashed potatoes so I have a variety and switch it up a bit but 3 oz's is enough or just under that works also... I have also had sugar free icepops... Still having trouble getting in the protein/ Water but everyday I try to get down a little bit more! Thank you all for giving your time and advice! It is always nice to know were not alone and there are people out there to listen and help! Happy journeys everyone!
  6. Congrats! Keep up the good work everyone! I went for my 2 week post-op appt and was down 17lbs... My wedding ring is hanging on by a thread! YAY
  7. Hi all! I'm at day 17 post-op... I am able to have about 1/4 cup of broth, around 3 oz's of Jello, pudding or mashed potatoes at my meal time... I have a horrible time getting down my liquids or Protein shakes( maybe 32oz's a day). I also tried yogurt and cottage cheese only about 2-3oz's of those as there consitancy is a little thicker. I know I'm full when I feel it sitting in my chest! It doesn't feel very good and I have been walking daily! My 2 week post-op the other day I was down 17lbs so I was happy to know this must be working... Everyone is different and I know it is going to be a journey for us all but this forum is a great tool to have at our finger tips. Good luck to us all

  10. Hello ladies... I had my sleeve done 2 weeks ago today and I must say things are going better than expected. I thought I would have a harded time dealing with not eating normally with having a family to feed but I'm doing it! Looks like I need clothes and at the size I am I can't afford to keep buying new clothes as I take this journey... Anyone have anything from 22-28 I would greatly appreciate...

  14. I had surgery on 3/5 and to my surprise my period came early and ended a few days before surgery! Although the day after surgery I got a light period and it has been with me since! Not heavy or cramping just enough to annoy me and wish it would go back away
