  4. Glad it went well!! Congrats and welcome to banded life!
  5. Congrats!!! So happy for you and your self esteem boost!!
  6. My husband was never interested in it. He thought it was dangerous. I started this journey alone. When I talk about it now, he isn't super responsive. Lol. He sees that I'm okay. But he's a man. Disinterest is a man thing for ya. Lol. I'm happy, so I'm like "whatever dude" to him. Lol
  7. Wow. What Shitty kids. I hope they grow up and weigh 400 pounds. Karma.
  8. My biggest breaking points where how uncomfortable I was, how I looked when I looked in the mirror, and the fact I was wearing a size 28 pants. I just couldn't do it any longer...
  9. Congrats on your surgery and your positivity!!! I use my son's toddler plates, spoons, and bowls... Haha.
  10. You can still eat Chinese fried rice. Just not a ridiculous serving. I still enjoy my favorite foods, just on a much smaller scale. And that's enough for me because I've turned a negative into a positive. Instead of mourning that I cannot eat an entire restaurant serving, I've learned to love the fact I've got leftovers that I can eat on 2~3 times before they're gone. It's awesome!! Saves money, and instead of just savoring the flavor once, I can have it 2~3 times more. I love that! Lol
  11. Sending loving vibes your way!
  12. Finally... Sounds like you've been waiting a while. What happened?
  13. Many people have already said something similar... But... I as well was completely tired of my situation. Of being fat, of being sick. I felt as though it was my only alternative.... And although the unknown is terrifying, the thought of continuing my life how it was felt worse. That's how I became brave.
  14. You're the only one responsible for your success... You're body will react fine. Just stay focused and you'll be a okay!
  15. I have no input. But this is an interesting topic. I've never heard of these connections. I'm commenting mostly so I can read and follow this thread.... Good luck on your search, OP.
  16. Agreeing with everyone else. Don't get involved... Yet. Let them try to hash it out. If they make no leeway, FIGHT THAT NONSENSE!
  17. Chances are, when you're in the green zone, you won't even need WW!! Free from diets. It's a beautiful thing. Congrats!!
  18. You're telling me. I was a ball of nerves. I don't hate traditional surgery but I hate the unknown. WLS felt like that. But I'd do it again.
  19. And did I learn anything from weight watchers? Not really... I've always known how to eat correctly.... Just never was able to retain weight loss.... I always lost doing program, though.
  20. I got pushed through almost immediately because I showed my insurance weight watchers records. It was like one day: here's our office... Your surgery is next week. LOL They never asked persay. I just presented it and my 6 month diet phase was bypassed.
  21. Yes to the prepackaged sugar free jello squares from Kroger!!!!! I lived on those! Lol
