well welcome to the community! Feel free to post n blog all you want, it helps to know that are people going through the same situation. i remember my first appt n how i wanted time to fly so that i could be sleeved lol.. n here i am one month op so hang in there, u will be sleeved in no time! my birthday present to me was getting sleeved! its all worth it! It feels great! so for ur up coming birthdate, blow a candle because u will have another birth date to add to ur calendar! ;>

woo hoo ! Now you get to jump through the flaming hoops of appointments and tests that they make you suffer through before you can get sleeved. Just grit your teeth and smile your way through them all :-)

Congrats on the weightloss so far.
Im far away from getting my surgery date. I just went to the seminar this past week.My first consult is 3/29 which seems FOREVER away. I realized that I only have one person (my bff) that I could tell about this process without them judging me.
My mom lost abt 100 lbs naturally a few years back and she has kept it off but I on the other hand cannot keep 15lbs off to save my life. I know once I start this journey I would love to have her support but she would view this procedure as taking the easy way out. She has been so suppportive for everything else in my life but I guess I will keep her in the dark about this.Its a little easier to do this because she lives about 300 miles away.
I hope one day both our moms will have a turnaround. *fingers crossed*
