  7. When they write off the excess they can claim that as a loss to the IRS
  8. I always appreciate lello and elcees posts. I was never told any of this stuff n didn't find this site til like the day after I was banded. I didn't know I couldn't eat certain things. Didn't know the statistics. Didn't know much of anything except I was sick of being fat! I love all the information and truth I receive here n am very thankful for your posts
  9. I eat shrimp. I have only had one fill to date but I had shrimp for dinner tonight!
  10. They always bill the Ins really high but ins has a set rate they pay. They will write off the rest except for co-pays and deductibles etc
  11. Drinking water when I'm starving helps me. I promise myself if I drink a full 8 oz then I can have something to eat but after drinking, I don't want anything
  12. Well he said I had lots of scar tissue which makes it hard cause he says it feels the same consistency as the scar. I am three weeks out. He promised it gets easier. I am hopeful next time gets better. Also he said the scar tissue will improve over time. Same consistency as the port I meant
  13. I totally agree with honk! I watched scope of utube surgeries. Our bodies go thru a lot with this surgery. We have to let ourselves heal!
  14. My first fill was horrible but I think next one will be better
  15. I set mine to 1200 as well. It calculates ur weight and how many calories will lose 2 lbs a week. I lowered mine cause it yells at me when I dont get enough!

  17. U take it. It will make u drowsy prob. My doc said I could take dressing off second day but to leave the strips on. If u are showering with all the bandages on it could be getting irritated because of moisture. I'd def give ur doc a call

  19. If u r allergic to the strips they r gonna need to come off. Call ur dr first thing since u r only four days out. Have u tried benadril? U don't want ur incisions opening up on u
  20. I had him put his finger on it while I took a pic! Uggg was awful! Glad to hear it gets better!
  21. I didn't know if it was maybe cause they gave me so many shots of the numbing stuff or what. Mine is under my scar too. He jabbed me about 6-8 times and dug and dug. Said I hAd a lot of scar tissue. Told him all that digging wouldn't make it better hehe. Just hope next times easier
  22. I did bleed some. So u don't feel yucky the next day?
  23. I can feel mine. I was shocked when I went for my first fill yesterday how deep it is
