  1. Thanks JLWEB. It's hard not to weigh.
  2. I haven't lost any weight. I'm having a difficult time getting all my water in as well as my protein. I set the timer for every 15 minutes and fill full to the rim. Is this normal? I'm full of gas too so I think this is why I feel so full. Taking Gas X, etc. Physically I feel like I've lost weight, but the scale doesn't reflect it. Why??? I met someone on here that had the surgery the same day as me and has already lost 11 lbs. Am I doing something wrong? Any words of encouragement or wisdom is greatly appreciated.
  3. Thanks. I'm really worried about getting a blood clot so every little pain has me a little freaked out. I had no gas to speak of until today and I'm hoping that is what I am experiencing. Pain under my arms, pain in my lower back, stomach gurgling and some pain when I breath in and out. I can still take a deep breath with no problem, but I am achy and my lower back is killing me.
  4. I also had my sleeve on the 13th and felt great yesterday. Today I woke up and my lower back is hurting with the occasional pain by my shoulder blade. Should I be worried about this?
  5. This is a great success story. Congrats!!!
  6. Soon2beskim, you are really lucky. I have been on it for 11 days. The first 3 days were brutal (I won't lie). Not because of hunger, but because of withdrawal of sugar, salt, carriage, fats, etc. Man, I did not feel good. On the plus side I have lost 15lbs. Good luck to you.
  7. I have a band and am converting to the sleeve on Tuesday. I also have 3 co-workers who got the band and none of them had any success either. They work in another city and have struggled with getting the right fill in their bands as have I. Good luck with your decision. I feel this is my next and hopefully last step to getting healthy.
  8. Those of you having surgery on Tuesday, have you been on e liquid pre-op diet? If so, what has your experience been like?
  9. I am also on Tuesday. We will be fine and healthy before you know it.
  10. Thanks. I just found a weight chart on line that had three columns, small frame, medium frame and large frame with some ranges in it. It looks like I should be in the 137-157 range so 150 sounds like a great goal. Thanks for your response. I haven't been 150 in 17 years. Fingers crossed I get there again.
  11. I am female, 5'5" tall and want to know what a good goal weight should be for myself (realistic). The reason I am having a problem with figuring this out is because I am big boned. I know, I know, you haven't heard that before, but really I am. I'm like a puppy that never grew into the large feet and hands that I have. I wear a size 11 shoe and I can palm a basketball. I am the shortest person in my family. My dad is 6'3", my brother is 6'5", my mom is 5'8". Anyone out there my height or taller with the same problem that might have a rule of thumb they use or maybe hit goal? I go into surgery on Tuesday and would love some guidance on a goal to aim for. 12. Gosh, I wish I was closer to help. Do you by chance live in an apartment community where the management team there could help with your pets?
