  1. I am 2 weeks post op. I loved these shakes pre op but Do Not like them post op. The reason is pre op I could drink them down quickly, Post op it takes an hour and within 10 minutes they start getting thick and pudding like. Also, they only have 15 grams of protein, I need 80 grams a day. I was drinking them nonstop the first coupe days post op o get to 80 grams They taste good, just too thick and if you add more milk or water to loosen it up, it means even longer drinking time. Hope this helps
  2. Perfect I'm in Portland. Thanx

  8. I totally will. I ordered some online the other day and am just waiting patiently for it. Thanx
  9. Today I was going through withdrawal from cooking. I love it. Im 6 days post op and my husband has been cooking for himself and the kids while I crack open my can o' soup. So, I decided to make some homemade soup. It was so delicious. Shiitakes and green onions sautéed in a tiny amount of butter. Add flour and stir and then 2cups low sodium chicken broth and stir til thickened. Add 1 cup evaporated milk. I then liquified it all in the blender. I was awesome! I felt normal in the kitchen. It makes the liquid stage soooo much better to have homemade, healthy, great tasting food. What helps you through your liquid stage?
  10. Barbdoll, do u think u lost as fast as everyone too? I'm 5 days out and really seem to not have too much restriction. No nausea, no gas. Guess just need some reassurance.
  11. I was sleeved on the 13. I'm not doing too bad on the liquids. I don't hate the shakes. What I want to do sooooo bad is chug a huge bottle of ice cold water. The thoughtt is making me salivate. The thing I worry about is people talk about puking and feeling full. I haven't really had that. I'm 5 days out and can totally drink 4oz of water in 15 min. No problem, no pain, want more......What about u?
  12. I'm on my way to the hospital. Excited, nervous, anxious....so many emotions!!
