Has anyone been approved through crescent insurance? My mother is pursuing getting sleeved and her insurance isn't looking to promising in paying... Any tips or advise??? TIA!!

Hey Meredith! 1st congrats on getting married!!! It's wonderful having your best friend there beside you :-) Ok... Have you spoken to his office about the price? You may already have set all that up but I did just hear that they are no longer doing it for 8000. Just might wanna double check :-) I had my consult March 1st and set my surgery date that day which is April 25. It all happened fast for me. His nurse did tell me they were filling up fast but I HOPE things go fast for you too!!! please keep us updated :-)

Hey guys! Im so happy for us! I don't start my preop diet until April 10th and I swear the days are getting longer and longer! I feel even more self conscious since I got my surgery date... This waiting game is taking a toll! I know I just need to relax :-)

Hey all! I am curious if anyone has Fibromyalgia and has been sleeved? I am getting mine end of April :-) In my experience of gaining wt, I have noticed a huge difference in how much pain Im in on a daily basis by every few pounds I pack on. So all you sleeve vets, has your fibro improved? worsened? How did you feel post op? Any info appreciated!! :-) THANKS!

Hey all! I am gettin sleeved end on April andmy Dr told me of the possibilities of a leak and I meant to ask more questions but of course forgot... I had 7 million other questions haha :-) How serious is a leak if I do get one? what are the signs of one? How do they fix it? life threatening? I appreciate any info you all have! Thanks everyone!!

Hey guys! Im so excited for us! Im nervous about the surgery but Im ready to do it. I have 2 little girls, 1 & 3. I want to get healthy so I can keep up w them! I want them to look back on their childhood and remember mom w a smile on her face!!!

We are pretty close... Im 5'5" 250... Dr said i could lose 100 lbs by 12 months... I haven't weighed that since i was about 13... kinda freaks me out lol
