  1. This last week weigh in was about 1/2 lb. Not much I can do about it though. I did measure this last week end and saw some positive results in the measurements.
  2. Good morning Kat, I also do not have a NUT. I go back for my checkup in about 1 month. I am down a total of 38 lbs, and am just creeping along. I am getting in about 500-600 calories per day. My food seems to stay down in the morning and at lunch, but dinner is a problem for me also. I probably loose it about 1/2 the time or more. Not sure why it always feels so much heavier in the evening and doesn't sit well. I might switch out to a protein drink for my evening meal.
  3. That would be almost 60 lbs in 3 months. That does not seem behind to me. I don't think I will be down 60 lbs in 3 months.
  4. Hi all. Quick check in. Doing well. Weight loss slow. Rode 8.5 miles on my bike today.
  5. Kay how are you doing now?? I'm still having problems keeping Protein down at least half the time. Overall still feeling good. Broke my bike ride record today, completed 8.5 miles.
  6. Not sure what the applesauce video is. Congrats on getting back on track, recognising you needed to, and getting ready to start a family.
  7. Hi Kat, I'm doing really good, thanks. I have been hearing you are doing much better, which is an answered prayer for sure. I still have problems keeping food down at times, especially meat. I am doing at least one 30g Protein shake per day, so that helps. I am so thankful that you are feeling better. Definitely an answer to prayers.
  8. I have also had some difficulties with acid reflux. A time or two my sugar has dropped pretty low, and my blood pressure even dropped dangerously low. I have been loosing weight however, even though it seems slow compared to others.
  9. Queen, you are always an inspiration to me and I lof your blog. Maybe if you try changing up your exercise, e.g. ride a bike instead of running, add an extra day of strength training, put in some yoga? Something to confuse your body a little bit. They say that sometimes spurs you on to loose weight again.
  10. So glad to hear you are close to the end of your ordeal. Was this a type of Staph infection? I came down with one of those a few years back and ended up in the hospital 2 weeks. Lots of packing and draining. Still thinking of you often.
  11. Hi Fellow June Sleevers. Haven't been here for awhile. I am now 2 months out. Here are my results so far . . . Blood Pressure - Now off all medications Blood glucose - fasting as running 135 - 150, now running 90 - 105 Weight - down 38 lbs clothes are now VERY loose. Rode my bike 6.5 miles today!
  12. Two months out from surgery tomorrow. Started out today with a 6.5 mile bike ride. Down 36 lbs. Clothes are getting way to big. Put on my panties yesterday and was sure I must have them on backwards, so I took them off and turned them around and then knew I had them on right the first time, lol. Look in the mirror and don't look smaller to me, but know I must be. Blood pressure is down to normal without medication, and blood sugar is down to normal.
  13. I lost pretty fast the first week, but since has been slow. Next week will be two months from surgery and I am down around 35 lbs. Not as fast as many of you, but it is what it is. It is coming off and that is what matters.
  14. Kat, been on vacation so haven't been keeping up. You have been in my thoughts and prayers. Hope you are starting to feel some better.
  15. I do believe that menopause slows your metabolism. I gained weight even quicker after having a full hysterectomy at age 40, without changing my diet or exercise. And it became much harder to lose. Of course every yoyo diet I went on also impacted my weight loss. I am also loosing only 2-3 lbs a week, but am following the plan to the best of my ability, so it is what it is. I can only impact the things I have control over. What I eat, how much I eat, and my exercise. The rest is up to God and the body he gave me.
  16. 10 lbs gained my 1 day in hospital. It took about 3 days for it to be gone.
  17. WTG TJmom. I haven't been on our group for awhile. I am so proud of you!!
  18. Great job! have you reached goal?
  19. I picked up some premier protein at SAMs. They have bars and drinks. The drinks are 11 ounces and have 30 gr of protein and 1 net carb.
  20. NDN, keep us posted on your date.
  21. Best wishes and prayers coming your way.
