How Much Weight Did You Gain In The Hospital And How Long Did It Take To Lose?

I didn't put on any weight in the hospital...it wasn't until after the first week I put on 4 pounds...but that was it...my doctor made me stay on clear liquids for a week after the hospital and the second week out I started full liquids...Hope You Start To Feel Better Soon!!!!

I gained 30lbs while in the hospital. It was all fluid weight due to renal failure and it took about a month to loose it.

17 in the hospital but they came off in about a week

10 lbs gained my 1 day in hospital. It took about 3 days for it to be gone.

18 lbs in the hospital....also demanded lasix; freaked out when I saw the weight gain! Lost 11 after the lasix in the hospital, the rest in the next 3 days when I was home.

I gained 4 lbs in the 3 days I was in the hospital and lost it the first week home..

I had surgery on the 18th and gained 13 pounds. I'm still losing it. It was really slow at first, but I was peeing like crazy yesterday and lost about 5 pounds.

I gained 20 lbs - had two blood transfusions, got home and had an incision open up that decided it was old faithful (good reason to finally get rid of all those ratty old towels haha)

I think it was gone within the second week home? At a month out I was down 23, and that is not including that hospital blow up weight.

thanks all.....im not feeling so bad now lol....im glad it wasnt just me. ive lost all of it except for 4 pounds.....
