Update

Two months out from surgery tomorrow. Started out today with a 6.5 mile bike ride. Down 36 lbs. Clothes are getting way to big. Put on my panties yesterday and was sure I must have them on backwards, so I took them off and turned them around and then knew I had them on right the first time, lol. Look in the mirror and don't look smaller to me, but know I must be. Blood pressure is down to normal without medication, and blood sugar is down to normal.

down 36 lbs -terrific

how wonderful about your BP and normal sugars, what a great feeling i know

i don't know when i started to see my weight loss - i had cleaned my closeet out much earlier of big and smaller clothes - so i didn't have anything to compare with

congrats

That is wonderful!

I seem stuck at 145 lbs; can't seem to get below this for some reason. I feel good where I'm at right now but I sure would like to get to my goal weight of 138 just so I'm not in the official category of being overweight for once in my life. I so get such inspiration from this forum so will try to read as much as I can here in the next few weeks to get me to that last push.

Thanks everyone!

Queen, you are always an inspiration to me and I lof your blog. Maybe if you try changing up your exercise, e.g. ride a bike instead of running, add an extra day of strength training, put in some yoga? Something to confuse your body a little bit. They say that sometimes spurs you on to loose weight again.

Thanks New Hope! Great suggestions; I'll try some pool aerobics and the bike in the gym tomorrow. Congrats on your success as well.....2 months and your 25% to your goal!

Appreciate the support and kind words.

I just wanted yr opinion. I just got approval to get sleeved on 8 /20 however I am scheduled for 2wk cruise Oct 15 which would put me about 8 wks post opt. Would u wait until after cruise to have surgery or do think 8 wks is far enough out. By the way I love reading yr blog.
