  1. I had to stop wearing my weddings rings. They were sliding off. Losing weight is fun! But losing my wedding rings would be devastating.
  2. This is my MOST WANTED NSV. I cannot wait to be able to go and sit in a booth. It's a huge fear of mine, going out wondering if they're gonna have booths or tables.
  3. I can no longer hold the car steering wheel In place with my belly! There's about 2" in between now :)

  7. Ah yes. During my 6 month pre op I had to do : cardiology, pulmonary , sleep study, psych, endoscopy, nut, visit my surgeon monthly. Lots of stuff. But at least I had all this done and I know where my health stands. I would never have had any of this stuff checked if I wasn't having surgery. Which I had already. Good luck!!
  8. Well for me the first 3 days sucked. But towards the end of the week it really got better!! Your body goes into a different mode. Hang in there. The payoff is totally worth it!!!
  9. Christine where in NY? Long island here.
  10. Well my post op diet was : first 2 weeks, liquids. I could have creamed soups. No chunks. Then weeks 3-4 ( I'm at 3 wks now) I can have mushy. I can do tuna salad, chik salad, puréed smooth. Soft eggs. Refried beans. Anything really as long as its puréed smooth. Then week 5 I can resume normal foods. Solids.
  11. It sucks. Lol. They wire your whole face/head up. In your hair. Sucks. Then they expect you to fall asleep. Then after they determined I would need a second study, they do all the wiring again, then they put a mask on your face. Then again they expect u to fall asleep. Sucks. Lol
  12. Yes. Very normal. No food in you just the liquids. Take my advice, never trust a fart!!! Lol. Seriously because whe you finally do go, it's probably gonna be diarrhea. But it will get better.
  13. Good to know if you'll have a drain?

  16. Too funny. Nice to know we're not alone.
  17. Now this is TMI here. But..... I've noticed a difference 'down there'.... In a good way. Lol. I think it's the diet change and I'm drinking much more than I've ever drank.
  18. Lol. Anyone else notice their bodies becoming more odoriferous ???? I'm laughing as I'm typing this. I've never had body odor. Ever. Evvverrrrr. Now 2 weeks post op and my pits smell. Need to do drive by my bathroom midday for more deodorant !!! Why?!?!?
