Just had my appt with the surgeon, NUT, and psych and now there are more tests. Ugh! Psych cleared me. Yay! NUT was just information. But evidently I now need a sleep study, an appt with the pulmonologist, a repeat lab, and an endonoscopy (sp). I know that all of these appts will help me have a successful surgery, but I wish I could have been working on getting them all in during the last month. :sigh: And to top it all off I found out today that I am pre-diabetic. This surgery can't come fast enough for me.

Ah yes. During my 6 month pre op I had to do : cardiology, pulmonary , sleep study, psych, endoscopy, nut, visit my surgeon monthly. Lots of stuff. But at least I had all this done and I know where my health stands. I would never have had any of this stuff checked if I wasn't having surgery. Which I had already. Good luck!!

Good luck! It's a bunch of hoops you have to jump through but they all lead to a successful surgery.
