  7. I am a teacher outside of Philadelphia. I teach 3rd grade in a public elementary school. I had my surgery on June 20th. I did not tell anyone at school that I was having the surgery, and I will go back a changed person. Who else is in this position? Who else is a teacher? What and where do you teach?

  14. I have heard people talk about using an acid-reducing medication. What are some generic and non-generic names for those acid-reducing medications? I am on something called famotidine. Is that a ppi?
  15. I, too, have had three C-sections. While I was sore for about a week after the C-sections, I was not sick. With the VSG, I do not feel sore at all. But, the first week I felt very sick. Just not like myself. It's apples and oranges.
  16. Good luck! Sounds like you are on the right track!
  17. I JUST bought a big tub of the Nectar Fuzzy Navel. I HATED the milk-based shakes and actually can tolerate this one as a juice.

  19. When did you have your surgery if you don't mind me asking?
  20. Hello all, I am one week post op now and I realize that it is still early out; however, I cannot imagine right now eating ever being comfortable, or seeming natural. Do you remember this feeling? Does it go away? Is eating comfortable and does it seem natural now? Thanks, M
  21. Thanks! Helpful observations!
  22. So glad you are feeling better. Me too.... I am also 5 days post op. Hopefully today I will be able to get in all of my H20.
