My name is Paola Fernandez, I am from Dominican Republic, but I moved to the U.S. some years ago. All my life food has had a stronghold on me, and last year I came to realize that I needed help in my weight loss journey. For the longest time I thought surgery was a way of giving up, of loosing weight the easy way, but now I know different. To me the sleeve is a tool, a tool that along with eating healthy foods and exercise will help me lose and keep the weight off. I know there will be ups, and down, in this journey but I have JESUS on my side and he will always help me succeed. My surgery was 1/10/2012 and that day a new me was born. THANK YOU JESUS !!!
