Tammyj, I just think you are the coolest. You are so on top of things and so sweet. I am now 5 days post-op and feel better than I've ever felt. I am down 28.5 lbs and am thrilled. Thanks guys...I will keep an eye out for that gas pain. I have my Gas X just incase as well as my heating pad. P.S. I've lost 26 lbs on the pre-op diet and am just so excited. So far so good. Couldn't have done it with out you guys and this site.

BandSTAR is home from surgery and YAY it's over. I made it through. I have NO pain...it's wierd.

Well, The BandSTAR is going in to have the surgery right now. Wish me luck guys.

I am spending that as well. I know it seems like a lot of cash but I figured how much I've spent thus far trying to keep the weight off and it was a lot more. I've been able to lose it, but it just came back. I thought of Mexico but decided against it. I am also in the higher end for BMI and feel much more comfortable with my reputable Dr. in the United States in a full fledged hospital.

Awww shucks, Thanks for the support. I've been doing liquids now and am so over it. Can't wait to NOT be hungry. A little nervous about the actual surgery but excited as well.

Hey everyone, Just thought I'd start a thread for any gay people who've been bandeds or are about to get it done. I go in on Monday March 5th for mine. I live in Hollywood (land of the anorexic) & have found this site very helpful.

Yay, a threada for guys. Got tired of hearing about the huzzie's comments. I am to be banded on March 5th. Nervous and excited all at the same time.

Will be banded on March 5th. Starting the pre-op liquids today. A little worried about the surgery. Hope this place helps.
