  1. i of course agree with floridays, i eat fruit DAILY but it does not make up my whole (food menu). you need fiber/protein etc...but ask your dr to be sure.
  2. just seeing how the june bandsters (like myself are doing).. how are you? how is the weight loss? how are things in general?
  3. people like you *inspire* people like me to keep going and give us a true view that yeah it can be done if you stay with it. you are so gorgeous. inside and out
  4. and you are never alone...you can do it.
  5. you may or may not have to get this shot. i guess i got it bc of my size but i really have no idea. its a wee wee needle and couldnt feel it at all...getting your ear pierced was worse or breaking a nail for realz. so dont spazz over things that havent happened yet (or may never happen). wont help anything...hang in there
  6. i started out at 336 and my bmi was 61 or 62 i was banded and plicated june 6 i am so excited you are getting your date the berr. i am so happy for you. just imagine what you will look like this time next year?? that is how i keep going day to day..you seem to have a great attitude and that will def come in handy. nice to meet you.
  7. type in a search engine, animated gifs that is what i do
  8. isnt this exciting? it seems like it will never get here and then bam its here .you just keep on trucking along and stay positive. think of how even more gorgeous you are gonna be this time next year. i am so glad you have someone at home to hep you. its nice to have those rocks isnt it. happy holidays my friend.
  9. i agree with you. i read every thing floridas says and she has helped me more than i can say (via pm's) and on here with her insight and knowledge and being her and i were (nearly the same) when i started, i came to respect her even more bc it gave me hope. hang in there uncle ted.
  10. i am with yall, the liquids taste (horrible) yuk. i also just stick with the chewables. i get mine offline at puritans pride (3 for 9 dollars i think). just find some you like and stick with them.
  11. i was banded/plicated june 6. so far down 88. i do not have any fills but i do (but eat as though i do). congrats to mads, megan, mini and krystle on those great weight losses. it doesnt matter how fast or slow it comes off, as long as it does. (that is how i view it)..hang in there okay
  12. some do and some dont (but just because i didnt) does not make me any better. so you cheated. ok, its over and done with so now get right back on track. the diet is to help prepare your liver for surgery. if you are really concerned, call and tell the dr and let them advise you. but i am guessing (just guessing) you are fine. just dont do it again. find that want power and hang in there. its hard but so very worth it. you deserve to be healthy. so do it
  13. nope--no clots or problems... i was instructed to walk as much as i could and also did 2 shots per day of levonex shots that my hub put into my tummy to help prevent them for 2 wks...easy peeasy
  14. everyday you will fell better i had a hernia fixed also..just keep sipping and stay the course. congrats to you dear
  15. just imagine where you will be this time next year...that is what i do when i get (down) or unsure...am not sure of the strapping down as i was not....just leg cuffs to help prevent blood clots...hang in there dear
  16. i had surgery on a wed and then ended up taking the entire next week off. so 8 days total and i am glad i did. hope this helps (ps, i work at a desk job).
  17. i am like line, dee and meg, i have protein bars in my purse and crystal light singles in there also..so i am (never without). i do try to make sure i eat something so i dont get feeling like you did. sometimes its hard to (eat when things come up). its a bad feeling. just be careful. if you are hungry, eat something. hang in there
  18. if i break a nail or stub my toe, i think it is my band??..i sometimes feel exactly as you. (i may drink/eat too fast etc).. but i would agree with chez/kime and sage) def call dr and let..them advise you if you dont feel better. they most certainly...can help you...but we def understand
  19. i will admit, when i do come across it at CVS, i buy whatever is on the shelves as its hard to find. its the CVS liquid actemphine (yes i spelled that horribly wrong)....
  20. i get my liquid (tylenol) at CVS drug store. its the CVS brand and it costs 3.99 a bottle. i still use it. (i have one at work) at home etc...def stronger than childrens (as you have to take more to equal an adult dose)
  21. hey kerr (hope you are doing better today) happiest of holidays to you (and anyone reading my post) all the best
  22. yes yes yes, def normal (and quite frightening). your insides are swollen and you are taking sips and its hard to go down....def go slow, and keep on sipping. congrats on the surgery...i promise it will get better each and every day.
