1. It's body fortress, from Walmart; 14 bucks. Great buy. Enjoy, Girl!
2. Just made me a shake! It's soooo good! - Filled the mini-blender half full with ice. - Half a banana - A couple frozen peach, mango, strawberry's - Fill to brim with milk - Scoop of vanilla Protien It's amazing. <3
3. I had one repaired as well and wasn't aware I had one until after surgery, when my surgeon told me he fixed it.
4. I'm four weeks out and just had Papa Murphys veggie delite thin crust pizza. One slice was super filling. I agree that the thin crust is cracker like and changes the ability for it to expand. Yes, it has carbs but it's unlike before; I would have had 3 slices of Chicago stuffed pizza. Moderation is key, and i'm only able to stick to this rule thanks to my sleeve.
5. I was told 15 before and an hour after. Yikes!! =T
6. Lissa, Your post spoke tremendously to me just now. I was sleeved June 1st and although I am losing and absolutely pleased with my decision to get sleeved, I still find that I put myself last. I still have yet purchase any Protein powder due to the cost and feeling guilty for spending that much money on myself. I mean what if i dont like it, it would just go to waste and that is money I could of spent on groceries for my family. The same with my B-12 and Calcium Vitamins. It's really sad that I feel so guilty about investing in my own health and well being. But it's true that no one looks out for you except for your own self. I need to get it together and put my foot down and.realize that I am important. Thank you again, Lissa.
7. I'm from Manteca, Ca. I was sleeved on June 1st with Dr. Coirin in Modesto, Ca.
8. Blondeej, you are such a doll You look great!
9. Hi Blondeej, My heaviest was 268. Surgery date was 255. Came home weighing 260. This morning, 247.8. And it's good to hear from you to girlie!!
10. @Dadto2 - not at all, I just sipped and it didn't go down well. I tried again; the same. I'm going to add some MIO drops to see if it helps.
11. Hi Everyone!!! June 1st sleever here! Things have been going better then expected with healing. Pounds seem to be melting off (exciting!!). The doctor had me on liquids for only 3 days then moved me to pureed for 3 Weeks. Seems weird. The only thing that had me frustrated is not being able to sleep on my stomach. I wake up with a headache every morning because of it. food is becoming redundant and this morning was my first morning of Water nausea. Above all, i'm feeling great and don't regret my decision to have had this done. Good luck to all my other June sleevers. Ttyl!
12. Hi Everyone, Thanks for the amazing support. :') You guys are the best. I just got back from another walk and the nurse came to give me another heparin shot in my stomach. Pain is not bad; keeping up on my pain medication . Talk to you all a little later.... <3, Veronica
