    So Frustrating...

i feel you on this...if i have no movement by friday, i'm scheduling another fill for next week... i have lost all of two pounds since my last fill on the 30th...been kinda back on the pre-op diet just to get some movement going on:/
  4. is this considered a soft doughy bread? has anyone attempted any sort of sandwich wrap since being banded. i have wanted to make a breakfast burrito or sandwich with a wrap for about a week but do not want to get stuck or have any issues...i am totally trying to avoid bread of any kind (my weakness)...any feedback would be helpful...

    4-15-12 Two Months Out...no Weigh...

i was banded two months ago yesterday...my weight today is 211. weight loss has been much slower these past few weeks and i have been trying all the tricks to get moving...i have increased my exercise time from an hour to an hour and a half when i'm on the treadmill and i switch up my routine daily. some days i walk, some days i cycle, some days i mix it up with half walking and jogging. i have even tried the elliptical...it beat me badly. i have even altered what i eat and try to switch it up so my body doesn't get to comfy. i have had two fills so far the first being 2cc and the second being .75cc. i definitely feel like i have some restriction as i am not hungry between meals, but find that i can eat more than a cup and so usually eat 1.5 to 2 cups of food. i have found that my band is tightest in the morning, so i usually start my day with a cup of decaf or a some liquid. i am not usually hungry until after 12...i get pretty loose in the evenings and find that my head is full of hunger. i have found that the more solids that i introduce into my diet the more i want more good tasting things:/ there are times when i also feel that i am still trying to eat to a sensation of stuffed-ness. so when i eat a cup of food i really do feel satisfied, but old habits allow me to want to eat that 1/2 to cup more that i can still get down because i don't feel stuffed...i must say that i am still learning how to use this tool and it has not come with a fair amount of frustration when the scale doesn't move or when i feel deprived...today i started couch to 5k treadmill version and am hoping to get back into my weights which have been sitting idle for the past month...my goal weight for the end of April is 205...i am aiming for onderland by June:) until next week...

    Discouraged

i think if you keep digging around this site and you will see that others have experienced this as well. it seems to be pretty normal. once the swelling from surgery goes down most don't have any restriction and some people do begin to gain as the band is not serving its purpose yet because you haven't had a fill. so during this phase most commonly referred to as bandster hell you are totally left to rely on good old fashioned will power to restrict your portions. the best you can do is make better choices so if you are eating more at least its more of the good stuff...if you have been cleared to exercise begin to move a bit if you are capable and this may at least help maintain all that you have lost so far. don't fret you will be ok and your band will begin to work wonders...this is just a part of the process for some:)
  23. it feels like I have a slight cold coming on mostly nasal congestion/running, postnasal drip, and a sore throat...could barely sleep last night due to this pesky phlegm in my throat that seems to be going down like its stuck...I've been feeling super tight all day and even warm beverages felt funny going down...anyone have any experience with this? I recently had a small fill .75cc on Monday and was feeling fine prior to this...SOS...
