i felt the same way all the way until they wheeled me back..after giving me "something to help me relax" it was smooth sailing and like readyforchangein2011 i woke up in recovery fine! i think i was also feeling guilty about having elective surgery and i have only ever had surgery once before but realized that that was also elective (tubal ligation)...i have been feeling great since surgery, but i still have creeping thoughts about port revision, band slippage, and erosion:( not to scare anyone...i do feel that i made the right decision and am happy with that choice...

no i haven't been to the doc for the sleep apnea since my original diagnosis in 2005...i have contiuned to use it most nights post-op as i have gotten used to the machine and found it to be helpful on nights when i can't sleep...

I hope you feel better soon:) I took a month off work! Just running errands has had me pooped on some days...

I also have sleep apnea...I was diagnosed in 2005 and have had an unused CPAP since then...I had to use my CPAP for 30 days before they would complete my surgery...

I was banded on 2-15! Eating anywhere from 1/4 to a cup per meal! only had gas pain the day of surgery. Have lost 11lbs since surgery...weight loss has been very slow the past two weeks...first fill is on 3-30:)

I am also a scale addict!! I just wish u had a better scale!

i have also felt that way so you are not alone...measuring your progress and success against others is dangerous and self defeating...hang in there...remember your purpose and celebrate each success even if it's a half pound, walking an extra 5 minutes, completing an extra set of bicep curls, or making a better food choice:) best of luck to you!

focus on how far you've come and the reward at the end! you are doing great:)
