  1. Hi Rachel, Thanks for the info. I called the Nutrionist yesterday and she told me I could eat one meal at the end of the day,4-6 ounces of lean meat and non-starchy vegetables. So I am in 7th heaven. Thanks for the encouraging words.
  2. Today I thought I was going to go crazy with this liquid diet. By lunch time I was starving and ready to eat everything that was not nailed down, but i referained. when I got off work I rushed home to prepare my 6 ounces of chicken breast and a can of green beans, D_E_L_I_C_I_O_U_S. I didn't realize how addcted to food I am. I go to the doctor tomorrow to get my surgery clearance, I am a little worried, back in 2003 I had a blood clot on my left ventrical. I have been feeling great since but still a little nervous. I am paraying everything goes ok tomorrow. Please pray for me. Well I hear as the time goes on it get's a little easier. Time will tell. Thanks, Smilecharmer ô¿ô
  3. Hi, You are not alone. I started my pre-op diet today and I am doing ok with it but what I wouldn't do for a chili dog right now...lol I pray things work out well for you. I am just the opposite I don't care who knows I am doing it for health reasons. Good luck to, I pray things go well.
  4. This is my first day of my pre-op diet. It has not been that bad. I managed to drink my crystal light, but I forgot to get some protein. I called the Nutrionist today she stated I could eat 4-6 0unces of lean meat, so I had 1 chicken strip and green beans. It took me 30 mins to eat trying to get into the habit. I went to Walmart and boy did I want so much of the junk I used to eat, but I passed it by. I was proud of myself. I am looking forward to ths journey and really want it to work. This is truly a test for me. I sometimes wonder if it is really what I want to do. I know if I want the results I need to do the work. My surgery is scheduled for 1/18/12, i am more excited than scared. I will stop rambling... Thanks
