  1. Btw I dont think I went until around the 14th day if I am not mistaken. Thats when I was able to get in a Couple protein shakes
  2. I wouldnt worry about that yet. LoL theres not really nothing in your system
  3. Well I can vouch for muscle loss while on liquid diet. My forearms, biceps, triceps, quads and hamstrings and chest took a big hit. But ultimately I know once I am down to goal I will pack it back on. I lost alot of strength also. Its just part of the process. Now for a woman. Most women are weak and nonmuscular to begin with. So as far as dramatic muscular loss in their case i have no clue.
  4. When you arrive at the airport to claim your tickets just tell them that you have just had surgery and they will place you in some good seats. Then when its time to board your plane approach the attendant and tell them that you just had surgery and they will let u on before the first class people. I loved that. I rode 2 planes home and I was the 1st passenger on each. Both of them I got window seats.
  5. Well My journey isnt as bad as yours but I uped my carbs the last 3 days and i actually lost 3 lbs. change up what your putting in you. I am 5 weeks and 5 days post op. i usually on put in 20f,20-40c,80-110p. But the last 3 days its been 60p, 30f, and up to 80 carbs. I just did an experiment just to see if it would make a difference. It may work for u and it may not. All you can do it change up your program.
  6. I can understand warm liquids in the morning. I did notice that when I chug down a cold drink as soon as I wake up I have problems for an hour. "problems as in knots or nausea". But if I let my V8 and shake warm up a bit it goes down smooth. I just thought that was in my head. Glad to see it happens to others.
  7. 5 1/2 weeks out and I feel the same way. 3 hours to eat a tuna steak 4ozs. Good grief lol
  8. For the first 2 weeks post op all I drank was crystal lite and apple juice. Protein shakes would take me all day and i would feel sick. 3rd n 4th weeks Protein Shakes get easier and easier. I can sip 3 swigs at a time and I am 5 weeks and 2 days out. Give a 2 minute interval inbetween then repeat. But heres a good note. They sell apple juice n v8 in 5 ounce cans. Perfect size
  9. This is my favorite. I find myself getting happier everyday. The more I go down the more happy I get. I can relate.
  10. I personaly feel its better to get one in before bed because your in an anabolic state. I do it for heart health. Major muscle dontcha think? I want to make sure it gets its optimum nutrition lol
  11. Being a Coonass and all, lol I am going be a good captain and cook a crawfish ettoufe' right now for my crew. I will see if I can handle just the crawfish n gravy. No rice for me. I dont even want to experiment with it lol. Hopefully this will be a pallette "sp?" change. I might like it. Me n eating 5 crawfish tails haha i used to eat about 3 cups full of tails. But heres a thought. 5/8 cup, 4 grams fat no carbs and 19 protein. Not bad for a mudbug.
  12. As soon as I get down to 210 I am going to be my wifes Mr motorcycle man too. As soon as I pay for her sleeve shes gonna be Mr motorcycles mistress. LoL. Just playing withya
  13. I agree with moist things. They do go down better. I hate to eat too. But I hate everything. Eating has become a nuisance to me. LOL. Maybe when I get off this boat monday and get some catfish I may change my mind. Eating Sucks!!! If I didnt have to I wouldnt.
  14. See we can agree on things sometimes lol On another note my trainee Captain was born with Low T. Hes been on since 12. He said his level at age 12 was 34. Talk about the bad luck.
  15. It does reverse itself but it will never go back to what it was pre 25. If you need it take it. I been taking it since 28years old. But my last time I did my bloodwork I was in the 2000's. And that was only 1 packet a day. So I quit ,did pct of clomid/nolvadex to wean myself off and restart up my natural production. I am going to restabilize and retest in 3 months. I will see where I stand and go from there.
  16. Thats my exact worry also. But 17oz of shake, 5.5oz V8, 20oz of Water =42oz of Fluid. Some days I can get in more like so far today.
  17. The day your life changes forever
  18. It shocked me too. I knew they caused erosion. But this bad? Seems like they should stop doing them.
  19. My other captain aboard my vessel just received a phone call saying that his aunt is having surgery today. She has gotten banded 4 years ago and the last couple of days shes been feeling real funny and weak. Finally she collapsed twice before the ambulance arrived. She was also spitting up blood. Upon CT scan a hole was found caused by erosion from the lapband. So as of now they put a stent in and some clamps to help it heal. I told him to tell his family now would the perfect time to do the band to sleeve revision. If they dont see an improvement. I almost did choose the lapband until the seminar showed me the sleeve. And from that point on knew it was the way to go
  20. Platinumlabz has a terrific product for oily skin. You have to go to their website. I think my last bottle costed around 18 bucks. But does it work. Hell yes. It comes in a neon blue bottle with a black cap. Its not a commercial product and is catered toward bodybuilders that have acne issues
  21. The United States Coast Guard did. They said we dont care how you lose it but you have too in order to keep your License. They want to pull my license because of BMI. They told me this is what came up in the conference in 2010. Bmi 34 and above. sleep Apnea, strokes, diabetes, heart attacks and so on. Also ability and agility tests in case of emergencies. In other words since they have to follow these same rules all licensed personel through them shall as well. I should have sued for discrimination. But I am not one of those people
