I Can't Believe I'm Going To Ask This...
Yeast infections that manifest on the outside of the body are often indicative of a larger problem with intestinal yeast. That stuff can be really bad and cause many health issues that you would never suspect being related. Check out this website at www.yeastinfectionadvisor.com . This helped me get over intestinal issues I had for YEARS! Probiotics are indeed a first step in helping the problem. You need some really high powered ones, however to be really effective. Take a cruise around the website and see what you think. The food he recommends eating is clean and healthy. It's a hard diet to follow, but well worth it.

Take That Stall! (With Pics) And Nsv To Boot!
OH YA!!! UH HUH!! OH YA!!! 17 day stall broken!!! I didn't do anything different than I had been doing since the beginning, and today the scale had moved AAAAANNNNDDDD I'm now in Two-WhateverLand!!!! I've been at 300 all this time, and lo and behold!! I'm at 296!! YES!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAANNNNNDDDD...... I zipped and buttoned a pair of jeans that I haven't worn in years, and two weeks ago they did not fit. I got smaller during the stall, so have heart all you fellow stalled out people! Keep doing what you're doing and it will happen. Here's a couple pics from the beginning to now. 44 lbs later...Do you think there's a difference? (They stacked in the wrong order :/)

Thank You!
Hey, I'm with ya! This is the ONLY place where I can go that people understand where I am and where I've been. I've never let a man other than my doc know my weight, but every guy on here knows! Weird, huh? It's a good feeling. I'm thankful too!!

Pureed Stage
I made egg salad in the blender with a little light mayo and dill relish, with some of the pickle juice for flow, and salt and pepper. I did the same with tuna and canned chicken. I had laughing cow light swiss with a little low fat peanut butter or 1/4 of an avocado. Low fat greek yogurt- very high in protein. Some well mashed refried beans with a little low fat cheese (this was in the book from my doc, really) also, some mashed potatoes with beef gravy that contain some blended beef in it. hmm...what else...... My book also has a recipe for "super milk pudding." I used SF, FF pudding made with 16 oz of 2% evaporated milk. That gives it a big protein kick. Very tasty. (I like the cook and serve, but you can use instant. OH, I also put a can of progresso soup in the blender with a scoop of unjury chicken broth flavored protein powder. That was pretty good too.

Frustrated?!?!?! Any Suggestions?
I'm right there with ya babe. We just have to wait for time to pass and stay off of the scale. I can FEEL myself shrinking. I LOOK like I should weigh 280, but the stooped scale keeps saying 300 each and every day!!! I am trying a strip down of carbs to see if I can get the fat stores burning faster and maybe tip the scale. I was so excited to get to 300 because that meant I was about to be back in the twos. Then I got shafted by the evil scale! We got this!! It will happen. IT WILL HAPPEN!!! WE GOT THIS!!! OKAY??? Don't lose hope.

Depressed. When It Will Get Better?
If you are always dizzy and weak, I fear you are not getting enough protein. Is there a way you can get a test to be sure you do not have a leak or anything bad. The back pain does not sound normal. As far as not losing weight right now, I am 5 1/2 weeks out and have been in a stall for 2 1/2 weeks now, but can feel myself shrinking. I know the loss is coming soon. It's a process your body is going through and you have to be patient with it. Take care of your health and don't worry about the loss. It will happen. It IS a very emotional time, and many people go through some emotional changes. There are lots of hormones being released back into your system and little things WILL make you cry. That part is normal. Hopefully soon all these unpleasant things will be a distant memory. Praying for you dear.

Pre Op Diet ?'s
I'm sorry, the brand I had was called BARI ESSENTIALS. I spaced that one. So, just put that name in the place of what I wrote. The Bariatric Advantage that I have is the wretched chewable vitamins that nearly make me throw up any time I think about it. (blech)

Want To Quit My Doctor
Well, I tell you, my PCP is just tickled pink to take on my follow up care. I had my surgery in Dallas, but I live in New Mexico, so I can't exactly fly to Dallas all the time. (I wish I could, my surgeon is a doll!) My PCP is bending over backwards for me, as I am his first VSG patient, so it's a change of pace for him I guess. It's not the worst thing in the world. We've had the surgery, we know how to work it. Have a doc that looks after you. It will all be ok. Emlefe- you are doing FINE!! You are being a perfect ANGEL with your food. I'm one of the ones allowed to have all the things you listed and I've lost 40 lbs. Don't let him bully you. Your stomach only holds so much. You WILL be successful. Either because of him or in spite of him!!

Pre Op Diet ?'s
I used the Bariatric Advantage as well. I'm a chocolate lover, and I have to say, I did not love the chocolate but the vanilla was very palatable especially if you add sugar free Jello or flavorings, ice and the like. And if you actually have all you are supposed to (4 with milk or 5 with water) your body will be very happy with the complete nutrition it is getting. (Your brain is something else entirely). I did not have a choice in the matter, as my surgeon likes a level playing field. Everyone gets BA or Optifast. I had Optifast years ago and did not care for it. My brain was REALLY hungry until around day 9 when I had a total emotional meltdown. Then the next day and from there on out, I was fine. I just didn't care any more. After surgery I had three more weeks of that, so I was on liquids for a total of 5 weeks. (one week of that was Clear Liquids post op.) If you go with B.A., you will need 3 canisters (about $200). Also, If they haven't told you yet....if you drink coffee, get detoxed well before surgery. You don't need to go through caffeine withdrawal while you're trying to recover from surgery. (you can have it back later, don't worry ) My two cents.

Lose And Loose Are Two Completely Different Words
I had a lose and loose comparison as my status for quite some time. (or something similar.) spelin is wun uv mye pet peaves. It buggs me two. While were on the subject: Your- something belongs to you. "This is YOUR book." You're- Contraction of "You are" There- location or "There are two Cookies left." Their- belongs to those people And I agree with the random use of the apostrophe. There are rules. Let's try to remember them!    (all' of' the' lol' face's are' s'o no' one' think's I'm' takin'g myself' too' serious'ly! )
